From Hell to Breakfast in Old Montana: A True Saga Paperback – September 18, 2017

This was a very interesting book. It would have been better if the real names had been used. I’m from Roundup and it would’ve been nice to know if I was right about which families the stories were about.

The wild west didn't disappear from Montana until mid-century. Most of the events related in the book took place during the 1st 5 decades of the 20th century, but the rest of the country had already moved on & become rather more civilized.

This book was a disappointment to read. I expkkected some discussion of early life in Roundup Montana. Instead, it was a review up the lives of several dysfunctional individuals who happened to live in or near Roundup Montana. It was boring and was of no linterest to me. My fathers family lived in Roundup for many years and I hoped find some review of early life there, instead I learned about the troubled lives of several individuals who happened to reside there. It was a complete disappointment.

Great read, especially if you are from Roundup, Montana.
