We were really impressed with this product we've been looking for something to wear when I'm cleaning my husband's ears with my otoscope that he's able to see what it looks like inside his ear when I'm cleaning it. And we looked at several different other products but this one seems to be the most visual for him because he can load it the app on his phone and actually watch everything on his phone as I'm doing his ear so I'm really impressed with us I didn't know they had anything like this until I got to a searching for it and the seem to be the best product for that. The light is very bright the picture comes back on the phone very nice and clear and you can point out a lot of stuff and his ears to him to make him understand what goes on inside his ear. The app was easy to load and it was just easy to use all together and very cost-efficient which cost-efficient compared to the otoscope that we have is important. So not only this was a great tool for cleaning ears but also it was a great learning instrument as well.

This is our 2nd purchase of this item. We were not able to get the 1st to work, it was probably defective so we returned it. The 2nd seems to be functioning, however we cannot figure out how to connect to the iphone through the app DVRunning. We emailed the seller for help and he sent a link to a video in Chinese. A Chinese speaking friend viewed the video but found the instructions unclear for iphone.We have sent another email and are waiting for response. Will update if we can get it to work.

Sorry this is long. I followed the directions provided but kept getting "wifi broken" on the app. I sent an email to company that was provided in directions and got a prompt reply on how to fix it. Again, I followed directions and could not get it to work with my iPhone (I have a 6 Plus). The YouTube video did not help as well on how to get it connect to my phone. I was getting "Network not found" through my wifi. HOWEVER, after three emails, I have it working and I love it! My 4-star rating is due to difficulty in getting it connected to wifi. Here is what I did:1. Go to settings > cellular2. Make sure Cellular Data is turned on3. Open Cellular Data Options and make sure Enable LTE (Voice and Data) is selected4. Make sure you have DVrunning app on phone.5. Turn on otoscope6. Get connected to wifi network. You may have to type it in: wifi_camera_ForearcareI am a nurse with visual impairments and it is difficult to look in a patient's ear using a standard otoscope. This device makes it much more visual with a larger view on my phone that I can clearly see inside ear canal. I love it! If you have problems making it work, don't hesitate to send email as indicated in directions. They were very prompt and patient with my questions and frustrations. I would highly recommend this product.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. Doesn't work- even with its own app!! After charging, and upon opening app, message appears that says "WiFi was broken" or "Video broken!" What's the point in this if the makers don't FIX THEIR APP!!!! Also says it's compatible with iPhone.. NO- it is not!! I got an "operation failure" error code for "No SD card!". Complete POS!

The app that this should work with does not work. I have repeatedly removed and reinstalled the app. It is dead in the water and does not open. The YouTube instructions to which you are referred is very poor. The devise does connect to my WiFi and looks really cool and the concept is high tech in an ink pen size. Perfect to use with small children. I wish it worked. I’m 6 days over my return date as I was messing with it. So unhappy and stuck with it.

I really needed this thing to work, but they tell you to download "DVRunning" app from the App Store on your iPad. THERE IS NO SUCH APP IN THE APP STORE. So, I have a cheap Android phone, found the app on Google Play, it opens but does not recoginize the device even though I got it to connect on WIFI. Am sending it back. IOS users, don't bother with this scope, no app for it, doesn't work and now it won't turn off. Am sending it back for refund.

My kids get clogged ears all the time. They complain all the time about not being able to hear. I give them my phone so they can see inside their ear when I slide thenOtoscope camera into their ear canal. It has actually eased their stress by seeing the "before and after" pics when i clean their ears. They are always surprised when i show them their ear canal and their ear drum. It does really help their stress, Thank you!!

Software was very quirky and would lock up often. Otoscope was “ok” but picture quality on mine was poor and out of focus. Eventually lost the ability to hold a charge. Do not expect it to last very long if I were you.
