I do love this face scrub. I was using nip+fab glycolic face scrub, but they changed the formulation, and I absolutely hate the after feel and coating it leaves on my face now . So I decided to give this no name brand a try because I really liked the natural ingredients it boasted . I do love this face scrub and it doesn't have a greasy after feel. The pores on my nose are nearly non existing after a month of using this scrub. It seems to have more glycolic acid than the other brand, because it cleared my pores out much faster (I ran out of glycolic face scrub and within just a few days of not having it, my pores were clogged). I can't live without at least one glycolic acid face scrub in my shower. I use this scrub once a day, in the evening with my shower. The bottle says not to use it daily, but I have combination(very oily tzone/ dry everywhere else) skin, and this face scrub keeps the oil at bay, and the dry parts smooth. I will continue using this scrub. I love the graininess. Be prepared for a heavy scrub. Ps. I am extremely break out prone to many products and ingredients, I get comeodones, and this face scrub has not caused any pore blockage, but rather has done the opposite, and kept my pores clear. I've been using this for over a month, so I feel it safe to say it has not caused any breakouts and has actually unclogged several comeodones and kept my pores clear of black heads. It's actually minimized the pores on my nose and inner cheeks! I don't find many products that work for my skin. But this one does. I feel like I can't live without it!

I've been looking for years for a good exfoliant that will bring a glow to exfoliant-softened skin. The one product I had years ago, made by Estee Lauder, was discontinued; it gave superior results and I have been searching for a similar product ever since. Sadly, I have purchased one disappointment after another, ultimately giving up, but not before this one last attempt. The reason I bought this one (Essa's Vita-refine) is the mention of warming after application-- that's how the EL exfoliant felt. This product has less warming, but the texture (extremely fine grains that still scrub refreshingly when massaged into the skin) is also very like my much-missed EL product. Anyway-- after one use, just one-my husband (who was unaware of my new use of this product) commented, repeatedly and admiringly, on my skin-- how beautiful it looked! This after literally one use! Since, I have used it twice a week, yesterday being my 3rd use of the product, and my skin feels soft as a baby's, no tightness or redness. Awesome! How I use: 1. First I wash my face with CeraVe hydrating cleanser for normal to dry skin. 2. Patting face nearly dry, I exfoliate with Essa's Vita-refine (I do this, per package recommendations, only twice weekly). 3. Then, I very lightly apply L'oreal's active daily moisture- this is my night-time, before bed routine twice a week. On the other 5 nights of the week, I do steps 1 and 3 before bed. In the morning, I wash with the CeraVe, but do not apply moisturizer or anything else.

Love that this is gentle enough not to irritate my sensitive skin, but is hearty enough to deliver excellent exfoliation. Have been using a few times a week for over a month now and my skin looks brighter. The texture has improved too. It has also helped to cut down on breakouts.

I used to purchase a very expensive exfoliator, Dr Lancer $78 dollars 4 oz. I was going through it very frequently & it was getting too expensive. After a lot of research and reading tons of reviews I purchased this exfoliator with a lot of skepticism because I am so particular. This exfoliator also has glycolic and lactic acid which both are wonderful for the skin. And lastly, the inexpensive price tag also scared me too, because most of us think the higher the price, the better the products and ingredients, which is definitely applicable in some cases, but not in this one. After trying this product several times I really must say I love this product and it really surprised me! It has sand like granules, but it is not too harsh and you are left with silky smooth skin. I’m a true believer now and I highly recommend this product. You will be pleasantly surprised & hopefully you will love just as much as I do ❤️

This scrub has just the right amount of abrasion without being harsh. Thus is the only scrub that I have found that comes close to a professional grade scrub that was used on me when getting a facial. I use it every day (in the morning).the scent is lovely and the texture is creamy. A little goes a long way. My skin is noticeably smoother and radiant. I love this scrub.

I’m going to write an honest, unbiased review.I bought this product a while back. I have combination skin: oily and dry. I have cystic acne SCARS from high school. I wanted something to help even out some of my skin and fix the large pores I have on my nose. This product doesn’t fix that. BUT it exfoliates. Which for dry skin it’s a must!! Especially if you want smooth skin to put makeup on. This product is worth the money I feel. It’s gentle yet strong enough to get any dead skin off. It tingles a bit and my skin is a bit red after scrubbing/massaging it gently but redness goes away within minutes and you are left with smooth feeling skin after rinsing. It almost feels like a smooth lotion when you are scrubbing it on. It doesn’t have large sandy beads like some exfoliated washes out there.

This has my skin feeling smoother and lighter. I use it once or twice a week and I've been loving it so far.

Wowsers! Finally a product that I can FEEL working immediately after use. I was so impressed with my Essa cleanser that I decided to give VitaRefine a try. The microcrystalline exfoliation sounded like it would make my skin feel rejuvenated and I was hoping that with the high quality ingredients, it wouldn't leave my skin feeling dry like other products. Bingo! I hit the jackpot! My skin feels amazing and smooth. You can only do the exfoliation a few times a week and I'm definitely enjoying the results even only using it a few times a week. Great product and literally a third of the price that I payed for R&F.
