Beautiful, well-built, and works perfectly. Some reported about toasting being uneven. I have not had that experience. It toasts perfectly and is a joy to look at while doing it! Highly recommend.

Bought this for a friend after hearing her complain out hers. She loves it! She's always admired my tea kettle by the same brand. The tea kettle is awesome btw. Will buy myself one of these toasters as soon as mine current one needs replacing.

Does not toast evenly and to top it off now the right side does not work I have about 5 days left on the one year warranty I just sent the company an email with a copy of the Amazon invoice and a picture asking for a replacement. Honestly I’d rather have a refund. This toaster is pretty but in all honesty my cheap one worked way better. Hopefully the co pant does the right thing You’re paying for the retro look folks …..not the quality of the product Part 2 Of review 1/6/26 The company never reached out to me or retuned a response to my email about the defective toaster within the warranty period and even now. Nothing… no response and I did email with pictures etc. so my hundred dollar toaster is a dud and other than being pretty sucks. Poor customer service

I accidentally ordered 3 of these toasters haha. I was able to return 2, the company was so wonderful to work with that I felt bad having to return them but I don’t need 3 lol. The toaster itself is gorgeous and makes a statement. I love it. It works great and has different setting . I will definitely order from this company again

Update: after using the toaster, I need to put it on the highest setting to get some browning and then the toast isn't much brown, but it becomes dried and hard. Not sure if I'll keep it. Sorry folks everything I previously said was good but I'm not sure about how it toasts bread. If it wasn't for Amazon's great return policy, we wouldn't get a working toaster. That is true for many items. The toaster box was packed in a much stronger box so the toaster box was in perfect shape, and so was the toaster. We like that we can dial an exact toast setting. Even 1/2 or 3/4 between numbers. We like that it takes approximately 3 minutes to toast. Not very long to toast. The toaster is very light to move. When first turning it on, there wasn't a lot of fumes. The Cuisinart that we sent back didn't toast evenly and smelled like chernoble. The Haden toasts evenly and doesn't smell toxic. Haden was established in England but the toaster is still made in China. It is attractive, toasts well, and has nice controls. I can't find anything negative about it and my wife says I am a negative person. Shucks! I can't find anything negative. I'm losing my touch.

Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loves it and I plan on getting him the matching kettle at some point. Super nice looking and works perfectly.

Looks great on the counter. Love the retro styling, including the setting dial (which mirrors the temperature gauge on the matching kettle). It runs very hot, so I’m using # 2 on the dial. The cancel button is lovely and responsive, and I enjoy that I don’t have to force the leaver back up like I did with my previous toaster. Fits standard sandwich-style bread slices, so my only complaint is that some longer artisanal bread that I like has to be flipped around and toasted twice. It’s a small price to pay for this kind of style. Very pleased with the quality so far!

I like the look of this pretty putty-coloured toaster, and how it matches the Dorset kettle. Looks heavy, but is lightweight and easy to lift. The plunger is easy to grasp and push, and there are several settings to use for toasting. I have two criticisms to offer: the toasting consistency is variable, depending upon the size and thickness of the bread or English muffin, so sometimes the browning is spotty, and sometimes is burnt. Be prepared to adjust the settings. Secondly, the crumb tray should be deeper and slide more easily for emptying crumbs. Again, this product is designed in the UK but MADE somewhere else -- common practice, but not always desirable.
