They did not have any weird glue visible, they had a plastic wrap covering the knife part that you can easily peel back and that protected it during shipment, and they were neatly created. A different seller in similar price range was not able to check off those boxes so if you’re worried, go with this seller. Mine at least were well done and my mom loved them as a part of her birthday gift. I actually placed them on her gift’s now. Was super cute
