Apple AirPods (3rd generation) with MagSafe Charging Case (2021)

I’ve been using the Apple AirPods (3rd generation) with MagSafe Charging Case and they’re excellent for everyday use. The sound quality is clear and balanced, with really good bass for their size, and the spatial audio makes music and videos feel more immersive. They connect instantly to Apple devices, which is one of the best things about them — you just open the case and they’re ready to go. The fit is comfortable for long periods, and they feel secure without being too tight. Battery life is solid, and the MagSafe charging case makes topping them up really convenient. They’re also sweat and water resistant, so they’re great for workouts or walking. Overall, they’re a premium, reliable pair of earbuds that are especially good if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem.

Blown away by these. Picked them up for a good price to replace my first gen AirPods which are now four years old and showing their age in terms of battery life (although I’ll keep them for work calls). Massive improvement in fidelity to my ears, and the spatial audio is a fantastic feature which really gives an added depth to movies. Battery life is as good as ever and the fit is perfect for me. Unfortunately this sort of moulded non-silicone bud will not suit some ears, but I can’t stand the claustrophobic feel of isolated earbuds so I’m happy that these fit as well as the previous AirPods did. These are expensive compared with £20-£30 earbuds from Soundpeats and the like, but what you get is fantastic mic and call quality, superb battery life, reliable connectivity and perfect integration with the Apple ecosystem. They also work great with Android devices and my TV, with no need to keep re-pairing every time you switch (the AirPods seem capable of storing unlimited pairings which can be controlled by the source).

I've been using these a few days now with my iPad and I would give them about an 8.5 out of 10 for casual listening and gaming. These are my first wireless earbuds. They are lightweight, they fit my ears OK without falling out, but get a bit uncomfortable after about 3 hours. I love being wireless and not having to worry that my headphone cable will snag on something. The spatial sound is pretty good, but not a feature I would tell anyone to upgrade for if you still have Airpod 2's. Using spatial sound I actually had to check at first that the sound wasn't coming out of the iPad speaker, the sound stage was really wide and convincing and nothing like wearing something small in your ears. Really impressive. I like the way music pauses when you take one of the pods out of one ear too. Personally I don't require noice cancelling so the lack of it on the 3's doesn't bother me. The things I wish were better: Volume controls and the buttons on the stem for pause/play and track skipping. Not having any sort of volume control feels weird, and having to press a small microswitch on the stem feels more awkward than it should. So far these are great, I love the sound and functionality.

After using them for over 3 years, they’ve proven to be really reliable with no major issues, which says a lot about their durability. They’re comfortable to wear for long periods, and their small size makes them super easy to carry around. The sound quality is solid, maybe not top-tier audiophile level, but definitely more than good enough for everyday listening. On the downside, their compact size does make them easy to misplace if you’re not careful. Also, if you drop the case, the AirPods tend to pop out, which can be pretty annoying (and a bit stressful if it happens outside). Overall, they’re a dependable and convenient pair of earbuds that hold up well over time, with just a couple of minor inconveniences.

I previously had the 2nd generation AirPods but found the longer stems would catch so I didn't get on with them. This new 3rd generation is far better with the short stems and I didn't notice them move at all, even with the 'grin test'. The sound is great and I have spent ages listening to spatial tracks in Apple Music and surround sound tracks to enjoy the all around sound, the spatial music is addictive, moving your head to hear the voice or instruments move 🙂 I know fit wise they aren't for everyone, I have larger ears I guess as they fit just right but my niece found them too big, she has the 2nd generation which fit her fine. I also love how they just connect to all my devices; iPhone, iPad and iMac automatically and switch automatically as I play audio/video on each. The battery life seems good, I put them in the case when not using so they get topped up and I have a wireless charging mat which I have used to charge the case. The Find me function for them will be handy for those who misplace their devices I am sure 🙂 Yes, maybe not the cheapest but I love the sound, especially with Surround sound, so have been worth it for me.

Great price (£149) for a great item. Having had 1st Gen AirPods already I can honestly say that these 3rd Gens are amazing. Better sounding (great bass), brilliant battery life, and the always on Siri is amazing. It's easier to ask Siri to pause/play than it is to raise your hand to your head and squeeze the switch (which is fiddly to do as the stems are so tiny). Absolutely brilliant. Worth saying that they ARE slightly fatter than the previous gens (but smaller look overall) result being that they DO feel a little looser in my ears, so I can understand some folks not liking the fit.

En ce qui concerne l'autonomie, je suis agréablement surpris. Les AirPods 3 tiennent facilement toute la journée avec une seule charge, et le boîtier de charge fournit plusieurs recharges supplémentaires. Cela signifie que je n'ai jamais à m'inquiéter de rester sans batterie, même lors de longs trajets. En conclusion, je recommande vivement les AirPods 3 à tous ceux qui recherchent des écouteurs sans fil de haute qualité. Leur livraison rapide et leur prix avantageux font d'Amazon le meilleur choix pour cet achat. Vous ne serez pas déçu par la qualité sonore, la facilité d'utilisation et l'autonomie de ces écouteurs
