Rage Powersports Elevate Outdoor SKI-6 Large Ski and Snowboard Roof Rack

This was a present for my daughter but shee is very happy with it's performance so far. We'll see how it holds up during the rest of the ski season but so far it's performing great.

My main reason for the low score is that my order did not come with all its parts. Although it was an easy fix I had to make the effort to go to the store and buy additional screws. It was missing the 4 screws that were crucial to the assembling of the items. They weren’t the cheapest screws AND I had to go to multiple locations for the specific screws.The item itself is good quality. It definitely isn’t your top of the line and the material speaks for itself. But it does the job which I am not complaining. You can definitely hear the wind drag once you hit a certain speed so I probably won’t keep it up year round. I’d also be afraid of it rusting so it would Be best to put it away once the season is over.

Skiing

Recently purchased this Elevate Ski rack. Used once and soon after the screw that holds the rack together had cracked and snapped and was unable to be used again safely.Would not buy again.

its ok, its cheap and ok quality. a little bulky though. a little drag on my rav4 when i put my snowboards on.you just gotta install it properly to get better airflow, otherwise you will hear a little whistle when driving. used it for about a year now. its gotten rusted out a bit on some spots. i also got some roadkills on it, little dead bugs stuck. lol

Great rack, gave it 4 stars because it came with an Allen wrench with a 90° bend to tighten the mounting screws which takes forever. use a cordless drill and an Allen driver for quick mounting or you can cut the wrench provided with a hack saw or metal cutting blade on a Dremel tool and use the long strait end of the Allen wrench in the cordless to mount rack on luggage cross bars.

This is my second set from rage power sports. The first one lasted me over 3 years until the locks broke and pieces went missing from a move. The newest one I purchased has issues closing and locking when the boards are inside. Not sure if it needs to just be "broken in" or what.

The rack mounted easily and filled the need very well. About 2 uses in, some of the mounting hardware fell off and finding replacement parts has been a challenge. I've contacted both Amazon and the dealer it shipped from with no response. We really want to keep using our rack but we need someone to gat back to us about replacement mounting hardware.
