I tried a trial room. Our “formal” dining room, which we don't use much, but the dog likes to look out the front window. I think it helped loosen deep-down dust and dog hair. It was unreal. We vacuumed the same space yesterday. I had to empty the dust bin twice today because it pulled so much up. It was gross to know there was so much, but satisfying to fix it. Yes, it has a strong smell, but I got it to turn around the pet odor we get noseblind to, I wanted strong. This will last a while, but I will repurchase when it is out.

Very strong scent, it’s not horrible, but it’s very strong for a “lightly scented” product. The floral smell of it permeated the entire house (almost 3000 sq. ft. home with high ceilings, that’s how strong it is). It smells like a springtime fragrance sample in a fashion magazine to me, which isn’t terrible, but to those who are sensitive to smells like that it could be a problem.. I used a Dyson vacuum and it seemed to take most of it out of the carpet initially, but when I emptied the canister and passed over it again with the vacuum, I kept getting more powder. Not a lot, but still a visible amount after what I thought was a thorough vacuuming. So I’m wondering how much of this powder is left in the carpet…like what percentage stays in the carpet fibers? It’s pet safe, so that’s good, anyway. I really don’t know if I’d buy the scented again. Maybe I would buy it and mix it with an unscented powder, like 1 part fragrance to 4 parts unscented…I just don’t want my house to smell too perfumed. Hopefully it dissipates quickly. Update: The next day the smell was much less pronounced. It took a full 24 hours. I vacuumed again and the smell was briefly reactivated. Haven’t smelled it since, so the scent was strongest initially and then gradually disappeared over a 24 hour period. I vacuumed again and no fragrance at all. Like I had never used it.

It is great! It helped me a lot with my allergies. I used to put this on my carpet and use my vacuum after a while and I would sleep very well at night. If you have allergies, you should definitely try it! It has a good price and it leaves the room with a nice smell afterwards.

Allergens and bad smells will run away... but so will you. The scent is so powerful, potent and extreme that it is probably more suited to neutralize the stenches related to carcasses, mass graves, dogs diarrhea, entire city sewers and of course the homeless. On my carpets, the fragrance alone has probably obliterated all possible allergens by the way of suffocation. Unfortunately, it also suffocated me. I am unable to get inside my bedroom, and it has been a day and a half. Vacuuming it over and over doesn't help and airing it doesn't either. Did I use too much ? I don't know - the instructions are not exactly clear on how much to use. I used about half the container on a large 1 bedroom apartment. I used a very good HEPA filtered vacuum cleaner to vacuum the product. The scent actually does smell good. Smells like something fresh. The issue I am referring to is the potency of it which has caused me headaches and problems sleeping. How long before the strong smell goes away ? That remains to be seen... so far it has been a day and a half. One thing is clear though... if you have a carcass in your bedroom or closet, this will fix it for sure.

I receive the box opened and most of the powder out in the shipping box ,not allowed to be refunded or returned!!!!

I’m a little mixed on this. I have allergies. I purchased it because there is a cat in the home. It does get rid of the odor but is quite perfume. You have to use a good vacuum to suck the powder up. I wouldn’t recommend anything lightweight. It won’t do the job. Then your left with powder n grime in your carpet and that doesn’t help for allergies.
