Fabulous for muscle pain
I love this product. I specifically use it to relieve muscle tightness in my upper chest muscle over my brachial plexus nerves, which then relieves the pain in my arm. Unlike cold hard balls which hurt and slip; this moves smoothly, is flexible and the heat helps with the local pain. I also use it for other muscles where I need localized relief. I don't think it would be my choice for hand exercises though as it is too firm for a tight squeeze; and as for lasting heat, this is the size of a tennis ball........if you want longer heat, I suggest a bigger product. Found that 45 sec. in the microwave is perfect to avoid any grain smell. Oh and just like you do your meds, keep it away from the pups!

It warms OK , feels nice, but doesn't stay warm long
We have a large bed buddy that we use fairly regularly. My hands get super cold in all conditions, even indoors, so I thought this bedd buddy ball would be good. And it is... but is very limited. The directions say to heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds. I've found that 1:30 is more appropriate for any kind of real warmth. Unfortunately due to the small mass of the ball, it really only retains significant warmth for around 8 minutes. Perhaps that is long enough for some. But don't let it get wet. A wet spot on the ball in the microwave can get super hot. For some who want to use it as hand therapy, it might be a good choice. It's like a hard hacky-sack in as much as it has a bit of squish to it, which firms up quickly. You also might use it to teach a 4 or 5-year-old how to play catch. It's firm enough and had enough mass to learn to actually throw and catch, but soft enough that nobody will get hurt if it errantly beans someone. Getting back to the longevity of warmth. In my case, my hands get very cold easily indoors. I perform on guitar and bass and can do a 2 hour gig where I need to warm up my hands. I need something that I can have on hand that will be warm almost instantly and can get me through an entire evening without requiring "recharging". I've ordered one of those hand warmers that can double as a phone charger. While not as comfortable as the ball (which is very comfortable, btw) the electronic ones are more suitable for my needs.

This is great especially if you arthritis is acting up
I bought this one after using a generic product from CVS. This is great especially if you arthritis is acting up. Warming for 40 seconds gets its warm enough to use. The only issue i have is that it would be great if it was slightly bigger in size.

Helps my grandma
This stress ball works great. I got it for my grandma so she can exercise her hands a little bit. I can warm it up a bit and it helps with the stiff hands.

Not what I was hoping for
This thing was received yesterday and I hate it. It doesn't heat up like it's expected to(didn'ttry the freezer option due to Raynauds, way too hard for someone with arthritis to effectively squeeze, & I'm 40 not 200 years old so please don't blame lack of youth. This product is crap. Complete snowball, literally and figuratively. Even at $5.99, don't waste your time and money and effort on ordering it.

Great product
This is an amazing product! My husband's whole right side was injured during brain surgery and major stroke. This helped his right hand so much especially after being heated in the microwave for a while it helps loosen up stiff joints and muscles I would highly recommend it

This product stinks...literally.
It did not get warm at all at 30 seconds, nor at a minute. 1.5 minutes did it but it smelled so bad I had to put it outside. It felt good when I acually used it outdoors, but couldn't stand the odor inside so had to toss it out. Nice idea but poor execution.
