GREAT BOW, BUT STRINGING IT CAN BE TRICKY
This is a good recurve bow. I bought it for my 13 year old daughter for Christmas. The main part of the bow is made from layered hard woods and polished to a smooth surface/shine. The extensions are either painted fiberglass or painted wood and are easily connection via metal tension knobs to the main part of the bow. The hardest part of putting this bow together is the stringing of the bow. It will appear that the string is too short, but trust me it is the right string for the bow. The instructions recommend using a bow stringer device (sold separately).. Unfortunately the ad does not mention this anywhere, so you won't realize it until after you have purchased the bow. As long as you know how to string the bow without at "bow stringer", you won't have any problems. I used to string many bows during archery class when I was in college, so it was an easy process for me. You can also take it to a local archery store or indoor range, who probably will have someone available to string the bow for you (for free). Good product and well worth the price paid.

Great starter bow for my daughter
I wanted a bow for my daughter who is learning archery. The Spirit 62" Beginner Youth Recurve Takedown Wooden Bow 18 lb meets that requirement perfectly. It is easy to assemble. My daughter's first impression at archery with this bow has been a positive one. Now she would like a 25 lb bow but starting with 18 lb worked well for her.

The quality of the bow is good and the price is great
I purchased this bow for my girlfriend so that she can shoot with me and we were both extremely happy with it. The bow came on time without any damage. I have experience with takedown bows prior to this one, so I had no problem assembling it, but my always skeptical significant other was glad it came with instructions to help guarantee that I did it right. The bow didn't come with an arrow rest, sights, or a bow stringer, so I had to purchase those separately. We opened it up on Christmas day and the first thing we did was put a simple Bear arrow rest on it and ran outside to take some test shots. Boy was it smooth! It shot like butter and there was very little hand shock. I'm no expert, but for what it's worth, I believe this bow is an excellent buy.The quality of the bow is good and the price is great. On top of all that, the bow looks very attractive and my girlfriend really liked the wooden riser and the white limbs. Even the Spirit logo is tastefully placed and doesn't detract from the overall look. Definitely recommended.

Nice price but not very good action
As others have said, the riser is nicely crafted, and the tension knobs hold the limbs on well. Unfortunately, The limbs vibrate a lot when shooting. The best way i can describe the action is 'smacky.' The string, while the right length for the bow, is hard to get ON the bow because the top loop is too small to slide easily up the limb. It can be done, but a bit awkward. I'm grateful for the free returns 👍🏼

Catniss Everdeen, here I come.
*Disclaimer: I'm writing this review based on product condition and overall impression, as I have not had opportunity to take it for a spin. Update to follow.*I just received bow. Ordered the 32. Nice grip and finish. Pretty basic. Pretty decent first time bow for the price too. I was hesitant at first because there was only 1 prior review AND because description says "child". This bow is definitely sturdily built and similar to the ones they have at local archery spot. Also, I assumed a recurve stringer was included with bow, but it was not. Again, no big deal. I'll just take it in to archery place and get help.
