I bought this as a range/camp holster, for a pistol I will never carry EDC. It is well a well constructed, adjustable, OWB holster with a retention device. The device is internal, with the control button on the left side of the slide, near the safety lock on the slide. In a speed draw it is very easy to sweep the thumb down on the draw and release the safety lock and then the retention lock in one movement, if carried "cocked & locked." Don't know that I will do that as it's not an EDC gun for me, but that will be important to some. The pistol is a CMP 1911, and rattled loose in the holster, but is was easily tightened snug by a screw on the outside of the holster, near the dust cover of the pistol. The cant of the pistol is easily adjusted inside the body of the holster. Allen wrenches are included for the cant and fit. All Kydex parts appear sturdy. Considering the cost of this pistol, it's fit, and features, this is an excellent value for the price. No instructions were included but there is nothing difficult to figure out or assemble.

This fit my Tisas Duty B9R DS very well right out of the package. The cant was about where I like it too. It is just held by tension (friction) it doesn’t lock in. I don’t really see a purpose for the thumb button or what it is actuating, maybe my model doesn’t lock in. My pistol has a full length rail and a square front trigger guard. I measured the belt slot and it is two inches wide. This will serve my purpose well and not for a lot of money.

This is an excellent holster. Holds my Springfield Ronin perfectly and the lock is really nice. I typically just wear it on my hip outside of my waistband while I’m at the range and it’s very convenient to keep your piece close while reloading mags, using another gun or using the head.

It works, retention is good. What do you want a holster to do? Hold the gun in place - this does that. This a basic, no frills, kydex holster. It will do its job. It hasn't moved around on my belt, and with an undershirt on, it is comfortable. The only drawbacks: it has one clip so the weight isn't distributed, and the clip it comes with is 1.5 inch. If you have a bigger belt, you'll want to buy their bigger clips (it is affordable).

Just awesome. I bought a new 1911 with an optics cut and an accessory rail and finding a IWB holster under $60 for a simple piece of Kydex was impossible I just stumbled on to this one and for $17 figured why not. Boy am I impressed, fit like a glove out of the box, as good as quality as the expansive ones and one of the besy bangs for the buck out there. Get one before the price goes up.

As a smaller dude, this holster gets thr job done, it fits my full size 1911 build without any adjustments out the box. Its snug at my appendix carry but I'd sacrifice comfort for protection. It works well enough. Kydex will work better over leather if you don't wish the leather to absorb any moisture from your carry gun. The sweat guard is at a good length and the quality is decent.

Great fit. Adjusts for release tension however you desire.
