The item came sooner than expected. The packaging was a little weird. It came with a plastic cover that was stapled to the back cover of the package. When I first pulled the mouse pad out it had a strong chemical/ plastic odor that gave me headaches. I had to let them sit for a while before I could stand the smell. Other than that, everything looked as it should and it is a great mouse pad.
