Good for lawn
My front yard is fairly well sloped so I installed this border to help with water and soil retention. So far so good. The water doesn't leak out onto the side walk any more and the soil is slowly starting to level out. It wasn't super easy to install, I ordered two of them to make it all the way across the front of the yard. It's right up next to the sidewalk and driveway so I first used an edger/trencher tool the dug the rest out by hand trying to not disturb the grass too much. Probably would have been easier to install if I was less concerned about how much I was digging out. It's been in for about 5 months now and has held up relatively well, aside from my other half driving the car over it. Does bend but also can be bent back to relatively straight. Looks super nice. Hope this product is still around when I need to replace it in 15 years.

Replacement edger
I bought this product to replace an older steel edger. The old one was rusted and broken allowing dirt to fall throw between a 51” long gap between a wall and fence. I dug a small narrow trench and buried most of the new edging metal. It fairly easy to bend and mold by hand and I use loose soil and rock to secure the bottom portion to the ground. I used small self tapping screws to secure the upper portion to the wall and finished filling in the rest with only a little bit of metal showing. So far it’s working great for the way I used it. I’m hoping it lasts a long time in the ground.

that they work
Dig a slot first, unroll a few feet, then use a piece of 2X4 and a hammer to install in slot you dug.

This product worked very well.
I used this to separate my lawn from my garden. My ground was hard so it took some effort to dig the trench. I used a block of wood to do the final leveling.

Not the easiest to install
I had issues with the border staying in the soil . It wasn’t very flexible, looks nice but would have ordered something different had I known.

Back for more...Best edging we've ever used
Done with plastic borders. A flat bottom shovel makes the slit through even thick sod. Place the border and step down on both sides to assure its supported. No clips or stakes needed. We are on our 4th roll and just ordered two more..replacing all the cheap border everywhere. Its beautiful. Easy to edge against without damaging it. Where has this stuff been hiding all my life?

Will be buying more, easy to install, looks fantastic!!
Single Lady here an I installed these myself! Once you get your trench dug per the instructions, take a piece of wood you've got laying around (1x4 or something), lay it flat on top of the edging, and hammer it down with a rubber mallet. This helps get it even, and prevents you bending the metal too. I love how this looks and I'll be buying more to edge around my tree and other flower beds.

Great for more than just flower bed boarders
Did not actually use this for its intended purpose. I used it for a planter I was building and it worked out great. I used upholstery tacks to attach it to the wood and rivets to hold the seams together. Its flexible, sturdy and easy to use. But I feel like if you properly follow the installation instructions this would make a nice border around your flower beds.
