So, I am between two permanent addresses, needing to fill an apartment for a one-year stay, but unwilling to march to Target, and “get what they got“. The beauty of Amazon is that I can actually curate to my space tastes on the cheap. This review will match that for the sofa, which you purchase separately, but the same comment apply.Just a few basic comments sum the experience:- simple, simple, simple assembly- the color received was the color I saw on my phone- the pleather is softer and less stiff than leather would be, but is warmer, more pleasing to the touch, and would not be noticed as faux leather unless you’re entertaining a cynic- cushion has just enough “give“ – could be used as a separate bench by the kids (or for them to build forts with!)My open question at this point: the material is soft enough that if you have a “roughhousing” crew of young ones, playing with sticks and swords, I believe the material would be prone to visible, scratching. Then again, fine-quality, top–grain leather comes with scratches and imperfections (animals tend to get cuts and scrapes). May just add character.

It is perfect. Looks expensive and it is sturdy. Glad I purchased it. I use it as a coffee table and ottomen. how do i protect it from spills, especially greasy stains M

Looks great and EASY to put together

I got this to go as a foot ottoman for an existing cloth chair I have. It is light weight and easy to move around when cleaning. The fake suede material looks great (looks like real suede). I like the big size also, so that all of your leg and foot are supported.

I'm sure it's a lovely ottoman had I ever received it.

I like it very much. Really a good size. Food as a coffee table with tray, or put tray aside and an ottoman. Lol. Its not HUGE. And is comfortable (but is not a storage piece, which directly impacts comfort level, its softer).
