Bosch Smart Home smoke detector II, with app function, compatible with Apple HomeKit

Es bastante caro, pero después se empareja perfectamente con su aplicación. Bosch y HomeKit, si lo que quieres es añadirlo a tu Casa tiene incompatibilidades de vez en cuando. No es la mejor pareja.

Don't ever believe that Bosch is more trustworthy manufacture!!! I spent hundreds of euros for nightmares, because 2 out of 6 alarms, which I bought less than 3 months ago, gave 4 times false alarms in one month! 2 of them were in the middle of nights (see the screenshots)!! My kids were terrified and my neighbours too!!! The worst thing, I contacted the customer service immediately after the second false alarm, and found out that you can only contact them via emails (for many countries in Europe), and they replied to me after more than two weeks, but only for more information, most of which I already provided, and then silent again!!! I have taken off all 6 smoke alarms from the ceilings now, never trust them any more. Can you imagine, if you were not at home, what you were going to do? I thought for safety, I'd better spend more money for quality stuff and better service, but it turned out only nightmares, literally, nightmares!!!

Although not mentioned in the description this is a Zigbee device and following the Z2M instructions it paired first time and was available in Home Assistant adding a lot of valuable sensors. I also got the Alarm & Pre-Alarm working with Alarmo. The smoke alarm has a sensitivity setting so you can for example lower it temporarily whilst cooking. It does take quite a few hours for all the sensors to start showing values, mine took 6 but I see some say they had to wait 24 hours so give it some time once it's paired.
