I was skeptical. As I’ve gotten older my scalp has dried out and itched like crazy on top. No shampoo helped. I got this and began the massage/scrub habit. I cannot believe the difference. My scalp itches less and I am so much more comfortable. Using different shampoos as well, it works.NOTE: I have layered hair just past my shoulders. Using a circular massage works so well but the tangles are not fun. If you have long hair and do this, it will be tough.

Came just in time for me to try out immediately. Wonderful feeling for your scalp. Soft, yet strong bristles which massage and basically scrub your scalp. I was reminded that these were popular in the 1950'-60's as most homes had this is the shower. Would highly recommend this size. It was a little tricky looking at the many available, but the size is perfect for my hand. The little handle is also attached so no worry of it coming off, which was a comment on other styles.

Several years ago I bought a different scalp brush, it had very short bristles and it was made of a hard, very stiff plastic-like material. The bristles were so short that they didn't move at all and were too short to get through all of my hair and down to my scalp in some areas. The bristles have no give at all, don't move or flex, this makes it slightly painful to use, since I have a sensitive scalp and a few areas that are a bit sore to the touch, because of this, I didn't use the old brush very often. With so many choices for the newer silicone scalp brushes, I had a hard time choosing one, but I bought this one because of the reviews. So glad I did! The bristles are a great size to be able to work through the hair and long enough to get down to my scalp. The silicone bristles are just the right firmness to be able to cleanse my scalp thoroughly and massage without hurting me!! I look forward to using it in the shower now! I may get another one to use at night when I use an oil on my scalp and want to massage it in (so I can keep one in my room and one in the shower). I haven't noticed any issues with it so far. I'll update this review if anything changes but so far, I'm very satisfied with this item!!

I got this thing for my daughter to use when washing her hair. She did use it but after she left for college, I started using it to wash my dog. Husky like breed, my pup is super hairy and this thing makes washing him a breeze. I'm sure that there are product designed just for dogs but this works amazingly well.

This product feels really good on your head and it feels like a hair stylist is washing your hair. The only down fall is that over a few weeks the “brush” does come apart from the handle. You can put it back together but it does not stay in one piece.

It just a wonderful massage for your scalp, and it feels so good! Great value as well.
