Excellent Bar for home workouts with DVDs on days I prefer to workout at home. I use it with DVDs that use barbells and this takes up less room , easily slides under my bed for storage. Work chest lying on back, back for bent over rows, shoulders, squats, hamstrings. I got 25 lbs middle of the road. I already have a 12 lb bar so I can switch them up as needed.

Excellent item. Take note: unless you're well acquainted with weight, this may be heavier than you believe it to be. I'm an adult male... and the 25 lb bar is about the most I can handle. Probably for most people the10 or 15 lb bar will be plenty for general toning working, heavier pounds for muscle building only. Seriously, that 25 bar is THICK and HEAVY. The reason I rate it 4 stars is the packaging, which was basically a tube sealed on the end with clear tape rather than tube caps. When I picked it up the bar fell out of the tube and scuffed up the end on the concrete walk. So not well-packaged, and that cost it a star.
