i thought the bags was iron, but it turned out they're sand bags which turned out to work fine. the product it self was solid though! i've been using it for like 2 months now and it does the job. and the clips are fine by the way, because some people are telling they're weak and that's not true.

The idea isn't good for everyone, adding weight may will make pressure on knees which will lead to bad results

Points to note: 1. I have a large muscular body type so this fitted me really well. I think that if you are on the slender side then it might be a bit loose on you so be prepared to tighten up the side material 2. Product looks really good and very tactical-like. Almost like I was part of a security team. 3. Each weight was 997g to 1003g so was happy with accuracy. 4. The shoulder section needs some additional padding so a bit of duct tape and some socks will solve that 5. When starting, I recommend you go with a low weight like 5-6kg and then slowly work your way up. I tend to do 8km walks on average so this was what I started with 6. Works as a great vest in case of cooler weather 7. Make sure you carefully balance the weights on the back and front so that your posture is just right. EG. You do not want to be overloaded on the back such that you have to lean forward etc 8. The empty pockets on the lower front right and left are perfect for umbrellas and thin drink bottles. I plan to snip that part of the Velcro such that I can leave the individual flap for the drink up with the other two fully velcro’d down 9. The other empty pockets are great for protein bars etc 10. The Velcro is really strong and the material of the product is structurally very solid. I read earlier reviews of this product that implies it was more like a shopping bag quality. I suspect they may have upped their production quality. The buckles are also good for me. I did not have any of the issues a few other users mentioned 11. It is a bit annoying trying to police the loose buckle straps so I might snip it down or use some rubber bands to keep them neat (visual thing for me) 1 month later 12. I no longer need shoulder pad protection. I just readjusted my weights a bit and the pain I feel on the pointy part of my left shoulder disappeared 13. Keep a spare chest pocket for your phone. Je souhaitais évoluer dans mes séances de sport et c’est naturellement que j’ai opter pour ce gilet lesté, qui est moins cher que les autres modèles mais ne démérite pas du tout! Le poids est reparti à l’avant et l’arrière. Le gilet est confortable mais pensez à mettre un t-shirt pour éviter les frottements. Il y a des bandes réfléchissantes à l’avant et à l’arrière. Le système de sangle est large, il conviendra à toutes les tailles et jusqu’à maintenant tout tient parfaitement. La question : est ce que ça fait progresser ? Oui, le poids en plus fait travailler le cardio donc on brûle plus de calories à temps égale! Je recommande si vous ne progressez plus assez mais bien sûr il faut rester prudent car c’est du poids en plus pour vos genoux et toutes vos articulations, ça se ressent instantanément. Ne forcez pas sur les exercices dès le début, vous risquez de vous blessez! Dans tous les cas, je recommande le produit!
