My mom makes handmade greeting cards. She was looking for something sturdy to put behind her die and stamp sets so that it would be labeled and provide a bit of support. I cut these in half. They are thick enough that they provide structure but are lightweight enough to be cut by a heavy duty chop chop style paper cutter. They are bright white, smooth, and come packaged to protect the corners in another sturdy box. They do not seem to warp after a few weeks of being used in this manner which I think is not how most people would use them. The cost of these was better than many of the options for dividers out there. If I were still teaching art, I would use these as canvases. I would clear spray primer these to have my students paint on them as canvases alternatives.

I love these backing boards. I use them for my small paintings on paper. It fits perfectly with the same size map and plastic protector sheet. I have purchased these numerous times and found the quality to be great. They are thick enough so no warping.

Arrived in great shape, no mashed corners, no warpage, no apparent damage, no surprises. So far, satisfied with the product. Will be used for mounting larger photo prints for framing. Will add comments if there are flaws or failures. So far….so good.

Reasonable quality for the price. They arrived with some bent corners, they are not as robustly packaged as more expensive boards. I was planning on cutting them down a bit anyway, but if you need to use them untrimmed you might be better buying something else.

These are perfect for my block prints! Keeps the print from bending. They look really nice!

Hard to get wrong

The Matt boards are excellent quality but when you remove individual sheets from the box they warp quickly. So it’s best to keep them weighted until put in a frame or glued to foam core.
