Good quality - seem like they will last long. The two main benefits I have found (working with my 9 year old) - helps to teach how to drive the ball (putting body into swing) and helps teach how to square up the ball on the bat. If the ball is hit anywhere besides the middle, it won’t go anywhere. One added bonus - easy for any family member to work with a player. Non-athletic family members can easily soft-toss these for quick hitting practice.

These are a great practice and training tool. You can hit them as hard as you can and they don't travel far. They do make a small ding noise when the metal bat hits them. They are a good quality product and I do recommend these, and I would purchase again.

As described, good balls to use for batting warm ups when there isnt much space.

great heavy balls that hold up to the beating. They are much better quality and price then the heavies i bought from dick's sporting goods.

I received a box of balls that have black markings all over them. I have not been able to clean them... it appears as if the product I received has been used. I’m definitely disappointed in the product.

What none of the product description says is that these balls are very soft. Perhaps baseball players know that practice balls are nothing like baseballs other than the diameter. I can't imagine they would be good for practicing throwing because the grip would be so different. And hitting/aiming would feel different than a real baseball. I never used practice balls before, and bought these for what might be considered an unapproved use, so I don't really know what they should feel like. I will come back and update when I find out if they really do hold up with use - I can't imagine they would.

We have used these balls for the last two years for pre-game warmup. The have stood up really well under a lot of use. We ordered new ones not because the old ones went bad, but because we just wanted to get through our drills faster.

This product is one of the training aids for my daughter and it was found on amazon for an excellent price.
