I needed a reliable electric kettle for daily use, and this Hamilton Beach glass model has exceeded my expectations. It looks great on the counter and works incredibly fast. This kettle heats up water incredibly fast, saving me a lot of time in the morning compared to a traditional stovetop kettle. The 1.8-liter capacity is the perfect size for making multiple cups of tea or coffee, or even prepping hot water for cooking. One of my favorite details is the blue LED light ring that glows while it's boiling. It gives the whole kitchen a modern, sophisticated touch, and it makes it very clear exactly when the kettle is running. The cordless serving design is also super convenient since the pitcher lifts right off the base seamlessly. The Bad : Since the body is made of glass, the exterior gets extremely hot while boiling, so you have to be careful to only touch the handle. Also, if you live in an area with hard water, you will notice mineral buildup and spots showing on the clear glass fairly quickly

Love this electric water kettle! I’m impressed how fast it heats up using the minimum water level, when heating water for a cup of hot tea. I was using a Pyrex glass measuring cup to heat one cup of water in the mornings in my microwave and it would take almost 5 minutes to begin boiling. I like my hot water fairy hot so really excited that now it takes a minute to two minutes at the most. This was a great purchase and priced very reasonable. I love the auto shut-off, and durability functions.

Perfect electric kettle! Heats plenty of water to make a pitcher of tea and heats very quickly. I heated the full 1.8 liters in 6 minutes, so much faster than my old stove top kettle. It looks nice sitting on the counter and with the wide opening, it is easy to clean and to fill. I really like the blue led lights when it is running. Highly recommend!

This is used daily at my parents' place with no issues in over a year. If you don't push the lid all the way closed the kettle may keep boiling without auto-stop. Boil time & behavior is pretty consistent. I personally don't like the LED lighting but my Mom does. The switch feels light & flimsy though it doesn't look like it'll break anytime soon. Unless it's on its base the switch won't depress down all the way by placement design. Good tactile reminder that it's not on when you're in a rush. Easy to clean inside & out. The base connection stays clean too, I usually find dirt & corrosion building up at the power terminals of electric kettles, not this one yet.

I ordered this 1 liter kettle for our RV, expecting a smaller kettle than our similar 1.8 liter glass kettle. I found that the 1 liter is nearly as large as the 1.8 liter size, and is not a space saver in that case. I point out that nearly the top half of the kettle is above the 'max' line, and is unusable for heating. I note that the pouring rim of the glass kettle is exposed, making it potentially more fragile than one shielded by a plastic rim. I also point out that while the top latch is easy to operate, the two-finger pinch has the feel of small plastic parts. I also point out that the large on-off switch at the base of the hand grip protrudes at least an inch, and the clear plastic appears similar to that used on children's toys, and feels fragile as well. The kettle looks nice, but not sophisticated. Functionally, the kettle heats rapidly. There is not a temperature setting, so the water goes straight to boil and the kettle shuts itself off. A temperature control would be better for heating water for tea or coffee. The lid opening is spring operated and will open to 90 degrees. Overall, I feel this is a good, no-frills water kettle. At this price point, I feel it is a somewhat competitive value.

Boils water faster than my microwave. Easy to clean. Super convenient. Looks cool with the blue light while running. Easy pour spout. Great quality feel.

Works great. Like that the lid comes all the way off for easy cleaning. Auto shutoff convenience. Fast boiling.

This is a very nice Tea Kettle. It heats the water quickly, it looks good. It is a great item for someone single because it only holds 1 Liter. Just not enough volume for the wife and I. My fault for not paying enough attention to the description.

Buena calentadora de agua, fácil de usar y calienta el agua en minutos y se apaga automáticamente al hervirla. Asi que si la dejas desatendida no hay problema porque se apaga por si sola, solo asegúrense de cerrar bien la tapa porque de lo contrario veran que no se apaga porque parece que necesita acumular presion de algun modo al hervir para apagarse. Ha sucedido que algunas veces hierve por tiempo que parece extendido y me he dado cuenta que no cerraron bien la tapa y en cuando la cierro bien en un momento ya se apaga.

A entrega foi excelente! Bem emablado e, chegou antes do prazo. Já o produto, cuja marca eu considero como a melhor, me surpreendeu negativamente. Aparentemente a garrafa é linda, mas é extremamente frágil, bem diferente da dourada, também de vidro, mas robusta, que eu tinha.
