I bought two sets of these candles. They work well. Initially one would not turn off and the remote did not work, but the manufacturer promptly sent me two new remotes and now they all work. The remote is a nice feature, it makes it easy to turn all the lights on and off at once. The candles look as real as one can expect.

I love these. I thought they would be cheesy at first, but my mom bought a similar set and they look great at night. I put them in our non-working fireplace, and they look beautiful. Just make sure you set the time correctly, or they will drain the batteries fast. I like to set them so they come on when I get home for work and turn off when I am going to bed. That way they are only on during the night hours that I am enjoying them.Just a tip... I originally wanted a set for the patio, but I read someone else's review that they partially melted while on a window sill that got partial sun. I instead purchased a really similar set that are completely plastic (with no wax) for the patio and I love those as well. But I would have learned the hard way, had I not read that review.

The candles arrived well-packaged and worked perfectly. My only minor complaint is that each candle came packaged in a loose plastic sleeve that crunched up and adhered to the candles during shipping and left faint marks on the wax (I was able to rub the marks out with a soft cloth). I was pleasantly surprised that the remote control included the required cell battery. I have not yet used the timer function, but the remote works well for turning the candles off and on, which is much more convenient than using the switch on the bottom of each candle and allows you to use them without disturbing your decorations or to place them on a high shelf. The remote also allows you to dim/brighten the light. The candles have a warm glow and a nice "flicker" effect. Overall, a great product, especially for the price.

I purchased these candles mainly because I needed them to work on a remote control. They were to be part of decorations for the Christmas mantel . Just my luck the candles do not work with the remote that was supplied. When you turn the candles on to set to use the remote all the remote does is turn them off.. They will not turn them on matter of fact the ON button turns them off no other buttons work. So basically I wasted my money .------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Dec 7th I received a email from Comenzar regarding this review. Asking if they could send replacement remote. They were very nice about the whole thing. I was kinda apprehensive thinking if one remote didnt work why would another work. I told them to send one lets give it try.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Dec 12th Recieved the new remote.. Matter of fact they sent two. I turned all the candles and used the remote to control them. All buttons do work,remote fully functions. I also received a followup email inquiring if I received the remotes and if all is well. The remotes are different. The skinner remote is the one that came in the box and is not a matched remote to the candles. I am happier now. I will now have my mantel display. Due to the problem being rectified I willchange my review to 4 stars and do recommend this candle set.

I really liked the construction of the candles, easy to load batteries and switch on! Very attractive! The problem I have is with the remote! It only controls one thing, when all candles lit, remote will turn them all off. That’s all remote does with my set! No on, no timer, no anything just all off then you’re done! You have to pick up each candle and slide the on/off switch for the candle to come back on. Pretty though!

These are my new obsession. I purchased these to create some tranquility for the birth of my daughter. I never anticipated I would love them as much as I do. They are now all over my house, and create gorgeous ambiance. They look quite real, and cast a very nice light. Lighting is very adjustable as well.Prepare to buy a huge pack of batteries though. Each one requires 2, which is a lot all together. So far I have used them for many hours and haven'[t had to replace them yet.

First off I love these candles, they’re so cute and can make any spot super cozy. When I first recieved the candles they all looked great and the remote was working, I got them all set up and tried the remote again and it stopped working. I contacted the seller and got a reply the next day saying they were sorry about the remote and had sent me a brand new one. I thought that was so kind of them!

Disappointing. At some point amazon needs to stop selling everything and just funnel the options in ever catageory to the best. I.E. this product would be eliminated. And especially go they he junk before reselling to people as ‘like new.’ Pieces are not intact on arrival! I bought 4(yes 4) different flameless candle sets, trying to find something decent. They were all junk. Ran batteries, were much deeper yellow (think dungeon scene), inter electric parts falling out - in every single set. I have 2 young kiddos so who has time to return or review. I WISH I COULD RETURN THEM ALL.The Impressions brand in Ombré was OK, certainly better / more real looking then these (plastic?) from Comenzar. Who wants to elk from across the room if Ye candle is a phonetic? NOT THE POINT!Really don’t waste ur time. Got Mirage w the flat wick/flame is the BEST. They don’t need the remote to work. Meaning they can each work individually from each other. Not ALL on/off w some silly remote. You can gift a single one & it will work. Also remote not needed. Simply use buttons on bottom to program & once u do it will go on/off that time - every night! Perfect in my kiddos & our bedrooms from 7-10 to tell us it’s def time for sleep;)
