Durable metal with adjustable fit design. nice black color. Have had for almost a year and is holding up nicely against rust in my BBQ pit that I use at least 4 times a week. I do cover them with foil when cooking something messy and not in a baking pan. Nice value for replacement fire covers on my BBQ pit

I use it to renew my grill fits and acomodate really good and easy and works really good.

I was happy about the weight and build quality of these shields, but I was disappointed that the little end pieces didn't line up with my grill. They still sit right over the flame bar, but if you bump them they'll shift. Since all grills are different I guess you can't have something truly "universal," but I still like them and will keep em.

I bought this Expert Grill from another big box store about 3 years ago and totally wore out the heat sheilds, and after many hours of searching took a chance on these and are perfect! This brand does not make it's replacement heat shields and took forever with customer service to send me round and round. I looked here and found these. They fit tight, no slippage, perfect width and because they are heavy weight and doubled up for most of the span, will last for a long time. I only needed 3, but for the price of 4 I have a spare for this or the next grill as universal fit.I did not notice any smell, paint burning off, just a nice even heat and did it's job. I highly recommend these for this grill and others with the very short width to try and find..

The media could not be loaded. My old heat shields were completely destroyed and I needed a good replacement. These adjustable heat plates fit perfectly on my grill's holding brackets. They are easy to adjust and install and are made of thick metal. Best part is that this kit has two sets of two heat shields each, which means I already have the next replacement set in my hands.

Even though adjustable, still not a perfect fit for my grill. the ends don't hook up to edges so I just layed them over gas pipes
