Well made and worked out perfect for my boat lid latch

I bought these to seal a homemade Cerakote oven. They worked really well and exceeded my expectations.

I used these to attach a leaf vacuum pipe to a mower chute. They're ok but they don't lock in well when subject to vibration so I have to use secondary mechanism to keep the tap locked in place.

I purchased these clamps to keep my garage freezer door from popping open when I close the bottom refrigerator part. The clamps are stainless steel and are attractive, size is just right for my application and they are easy to adjust and install. I pre-drilled pilot holes for the included screws and used my cordless drill to initially set the screws, then finished with a screwdriver. To mark the holes, I recommend setting the catch first, mark the hole centers with a pencil and then predrill and mount the catch. Mounting the clamp becomes pretty easy, I prefer setting the clamp distance to the middle of the adjustment, but do what fits your application. The latch/locking mechanism worked flawlessy for me and the door remains secure in all conditions. While I only needed 1 catch, this was a great buy and value for the money.

High quality thick metal. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the screws they come with are way to big. I had to buy #6 screws to mount these and even still the head protrudes a bit. Maybe #4 screws would solve that.
