Excellent slick surface and it's holding up well
I love this little skillet! The slick non-stick surface works very well, although we are advised to use a tiny bit of oil and not cook on it dry. So I do. Everything glides well and sears beautifully. Cleanup is truly a breeze, too. I like it so well that I'm going to get a larger model.

Non stick and Durable? I hope so
I spent a boatload on non stick pans from Caphalon, All-Clad and Scanpan, and all of them had the non-stick surface fail in one way or another. This GreenPan coating appears to be super durable (though I'm only using silicon utensils with it) and with just a small amount of butter or oil (seriously, a little bit isn't gonna kill you) it is truly non-stick. In fact, I've forgotten the butter/oil and it was still pretty much non-stick. I do think that preheating the pan is a critical part of using it.It cleans easily with soap and water and so far, I have no complaints at all. I'll edit this review if durability is an issue.

Perfect size for one person
Easy to clean, good heat retention, works great on an induction range.

Company transparency
This is a fine product. Well built and feels good in the hand.I returned it because of discovering that GreenPan has not fully transparent when it comes to the materials being used in the creation of the Thermolon ceramic coating cook surface of the products. It's great to know that the cookware is free of PFAS, PFOA, and PTFE in general. But I've read several accounts of GreenPan being very murky when it comes to informing the public about the materials used in the Thermolon manufacturing process.The 2019 lawsuit may have started a lot of question being asked. There are several non toxic cookware brands out there that have been very transparent about how the products are made and why they're safe.As I mentioned, this pan seems like a fine product but I know that in the back of mind I'm a bit bothered by the company not being open with the public. Unfortunately that would be something I would think about every time I used the pan. Claiming to be clean and non toxic is great. But not being fully open with information seems a bit sneaky.Hope this helps.

Handle gets hot
Only used twice so far. Will have to wait to see how durable it is. I like the coating so far. With the $100.00 plus pans I've been using the coating has failed me in less than 6 months. Never used at high heat, and always wiped clean or hand washed. This pan will get the same treatment. It's really light weight vs the Tri Ply pans I've been using...don't know if I like that or not. The only real negative so far is that the handle gets hot.

Great nonstick very quiet on induction cooktop
I have used induction cooking for more than 5 years and noticed that one reviewer stated that this pan needed higher settings than other pans when using induction.I tested this pan using an infrared temperature gun and compared it to my previous pans. Started at ~75F and timed 30 seconds on medium heat (induction). The new GreenPan heated to 135F and my old (thinner) GreenPan got to 165F. I am guessing that the new thicker 5mm pan needed more time to get to temperature due to being double the thickness. I also tested a mini cast iron fry pan and it also came up to 135F in the same 30 seconds.The most notable difference between this pan and all the others I have used on induction is that it is silent. Every other induction pan I have used has a buzzing sound, which is something I have gotten use to over the years.I have also found that a little real butter works best to enhance the non stick experience. For some nonstick pans using a spray on oil will ruin the non stick properties - not sure about this current pan but do not plan on pushing my luck.My older GreenPan (probably about 4 years old) has lost its non stick properties and I believe it was due to using spray on cooking oils, as the surface is not visibly damaged.

OK pan, design flaws
Trying to get away from telon pans so decided to try this. After a week of daily use it gets 2.5 stars. The non-stick works around 75% of the time (even following the directions to the T), which is fine, but doesn't bode well for durability. But the pan is designed poorly - it's very heavy for it's size. The tall, steep sides make flipping anything a difficult task. But worse, the handle gets ripping hot after only 6 or 8 minutes on medium heat. I'll keep it around for any recipes that call for the frypan to go into the oven. Otherwise I'll use something else for my breakfast.

Green Pan, So Far So Good!
Received pan today, good weight and sturdy construction. Took it out for a test drive and made a basic 3 egg cheese omelette, used about 1/2 teaspoon of ghee and the pan performed perfectly!That said, I find the true test for these nonstick pans is How long the coatings last! Time will tellCheers

¡Una sartén para toda la vida!
He estado tratando de encontrar una sartén pequeña en la que pueda freír mi desayuno todas las mañanas, en la que la comida no se pegue y sea fácil de cuidar. Esta sartén cumple todos los requisitos y está diseñada para durar. Es un poco caro, pero tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio para una sartén que parece que durará mucho tiempo.

Desprende sabor metálico
Tuve que devolverla porque soltaba un sabor muy extraño, mi comida tenía un sabor metálico super extraño y feo, me dio miedo seguirla utilizando, esto pasó desde el día 1 de utilizarla. El huevo se pega y es con el alimento que más sabe el sabor extraño que desprende. Los demás alimentos que cociné no se pegaban sin embargo de verdad NO recomiendo.

Healthy and it works great!
I have a very small green pan that I got to try before I invested in a larger one. I loved it so much I had to get another! Recommended by top chefs, food doesn’t stick and I love the fact that no harsh chemicals were used to coat the pan like most other non stick pans. I got the 8” size … will be buying the larger size soon!
