Works AMAZING, not many instructions... ** once figured out, easy as pie!! **
This rotary tool will get the job done, if you can figure out how it works. It comes with all these bits and pieces but I can't figure them all out. I broke 2 of the brittle round disks right away...not sure how they are supposed to cut wood. I would purchase reinforced disks if you are going to use it on wood or anything at all. Still excited to see how other parts work. YouTube it is!After researching a bit, it’s actually very easy to use and change out parts. Simply use the wrench that is provided with the dremmel and hold the small black nut attachment piece at the tip top of the dremmel, push down round black button near the front of that nut, and then turn the nut with the wrench to loosen it! The button allows the nut to loosen or tighten its grip from the dremmel itself.Once you hold the button down, use the wrench to turn the nut (lefty loose, righty tightly). Then unscrew the larger round black cap piece, if needed, to replace the gold collet (not sure of the spelling), which hold different size bits (the different items/tips thst comes weird it and used for different tasks - drill bits, sanding bits, cutting bits, etc), which are sometimes different size shafts. Only changed when needed. If you need to use a different collect, figure out the correct size gold collet you need, take out old one from the dremmel and replace it with the new one. Should be easy. Do not for r.With your new bit (tool) and collet in place, twist on black cap tightly, use the wrench and button to twist on the black nut to tighten it to the bit piece, and you’re good to go!Be sure to check out the various speeds needed to work certain items/ materials/tools/etc.This dremmel is amazing and fun!! So happy I bought it!!!!! I hope you enjoy it too!!!

All in all a really great tool for price!
Nothing to complain about, nor even a single negative to mention. Don’t know how long it will run but it dose come with replacement brushes so not sure exactly how to interpret that one but hey it’s nice to have some just in case. For my purposes it has already preformed well past expectations and well exceeded cost in many ways. After many hours of research and now experience I would say this is definitely the model to go with and the best bang for the buck.

A definite got to try power tool set for the person who uses power tools daily.
I never had a rotary tool set in my inventory of tools. I've been a tradesman for 20 years and never knew what I was missing. I bought this tool set because I was going to tackle a home project that involved some stained glass. Not only did this tool set work very well on the stained glass, I also started using it for more and more of my everyday projects. I knew that these type of power tool sets existed but never got around to buying one,but now that I did I wouldn't have anything else. The flex shaft and telescoping stand to hang the tool from is a person's best friend. The only thing negative I have to say is that the bits that come with it wear out pretty easy. But as far as the actual rotary tool, stand, and router attachment are holding up great. Anybody that uses power tools on a daily basis will agree that it is hard to put money into a new toolset that you haven't heard of or isn't name brand but I can tell you from experience now that this little rotary tool can definitely hang with the big dogs. You are going to pay yourself on the back after you open it up and start using it.

Worked reasonably well to enlarge the pickup cavities on my bass guitar.
Easy to use, stable, quiet, can be gentle but powerful. The torque doesnt jerk the tool around. I have not used the flex tool attachment. I used the router attachment which has a few issues: The set screw that tightens and locks in your height adjustment causes the basket to skew and the unit is not plumb or level to your working surface. This flaw also causes the basket to go out of round when you are sliding across the work surface. I couldn't rely on a good measurement to use to set up my straight edge guides because all sides were different. The basket has only one good viewing hole through which you can see the bit while you're working. There is a smaller hole on the opposite side that is of no use to see what your working on. I like the size and idea of this attachment but would prefer to have one that's well made out of metal.

Very pleased with this low cost tool.
I am very pleased with this tool at this price. Has all the basic fittings etc. shown in the ad and they all work as intended, this rotary tool has performed fine so far for my mildly abusive use including but not limited to cutting and grinding down steel and aluminum parts while often exerting excessive pressure on it or the flex shaft end as well as very long run-times while polishing parts as well as less taxing uses.

I bought this for the flex shaft.
Disclaimer: I have only used the flex shaft of this product and have not tried to carve holding the main orange piece. This is a fantastic product. I bought this to replace my battery-powered Dremel rotator tool, which I got very tired of using very quickly when the battery died so quickly and the heavy, bulky tool just got exhausting to hold for more than 10 minutes. I bought this specifically because it's a corded product; it has seemingly unlimited power (compared to a battery-powered) and the flex shaft is very light and comfortable to hold for long periods of a time. When the speed is set to 3 or below, this is fine to hold without a glove for a while. Moving up to speeds 4-6 I would recommend using a work glove to hold this, because the flex shaft can get quite hot when using speed 6 for 30 minutes. Great note: this is still comfortable to use even wearing a glove. I typically stick with speed 4 with a glove, and can carve for 2+ hours comfortably.Keep in mind the flex shaft has a keyed chuck, so it is a bit more effort to change bits than with a keyless chuck. However because of the speed and vibration of this piece, it just makes more sense to have a keyed chuck, and is just worth it based on the power this product can provide. I'm beyond satisfied with this tool.
