Makes AIP bearable!
Flavoursome recipes - great for AIP as the lack of many spices can make food bland. Also many easy recipes which is welcome when having to cook every meal from scratch. Fish molee I particularly liked and very easy to adapt with prawns and more veg.

One of the best overall cookbooks I've ever purchased. Seriously.
6 weeks ago, I was diagnosed with an Autoimmune disease and decided to embark on AIP protocol. I consider myself a pretty creative home cook, but I was badly missing my favorite international flavors. I happened upon the author's YouTube channel, Cook2Nourish, and her lovely blog. Knowing that I would need help in keeping myself on the strict elimination phase of AIP, I decided to order the book and try several recipes before I gave my review. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this cookbook! "114 allergen friendly recipes with no grains, legumes, eggs, dairy, nuts, seeds, nightshade, or soy." So far, I've made the Cassava Roti, Sri Lankan chicken Curry, Shahi Kofta Curry, red onion pickle, sticky mango 'rice', sweet potato pancakes, Chaat Masala mix, ginger-garlic paste, creamy mashed cassava, cabbage and pineapple salad. Everything has been delicious! 💜 The directions are clear and easy to follow. Each recipe has a beautiful picture. I've also served these recipes to friends who are not on AIP, and they were thrilled and raved about how delicious everything was. Do yourself [and this wonderful author] a favor and order this book! I couldn't have stuck to the Autoimmune Paleo protocol as long as I have without the help of this book. We're on week 6 and counting since my diagnosis and starting on AIP.👍 And I intend on diving into more of these lovely recipes! This book has help tremendously in making all these big lifestyle changes. I will definitely and happily use these recipes for many years to come. Buy a copy for yourself, and a friend! You won't regret it. This book was an obvious labor of love.

Great book
I am glad to extend my cooking to new flavours and tastes. AIP cooking can get repetitive.

Delicious, beautiful food with a side of healing.
I cannot even begin to tell you how happy I was to discover Indira’s blog & then this book. Indian cuisine has a special place in my heart (and belly). Last year, I discovered I had an autoimmune condition & I quickly discovered that my likelihood to have an autoimmune flare was very much correlated to the foods I was eating. Thankfully I found the AIP healing diet & my symptoms are now practically nonexistent. And as much as I love the nutrient dense & beautiful foods I eat daily, I found myself longing for some of my favorite cuisines, like Indian. Most AIP Indian inspired recipes online tend to have no more than some ginger & turmeric. Then I discovered Indira. The ingredient lists were unique & contained ingredients I had never even seen before (you will definitely need to make a trip to an Indian market and/or shop for some ingredients on Amazon-trust me, it’s worth it!!). Upon making my first recipe from her new book, my home instantly was filled with a warm, rich aroma that reminded me of my favorite Indian restaurant. The pictures are gorgeous. The meal plan in the back of the book makes meal prep a breeze. And the ingredient guide in the beginning of the book is a lifesaver!! Where to find ingredients, what they taste like, what substitutes can be used. This is such a well thought out labor of love. Finding this book is truly a gift. No longer do I have to sacrifice flavors I love in order to feel well. Thanks to this book I can continue to heal my body while also enjoying delicious & beautiful food inspired by Indian cuisine.

A definite buy for AIP! Tasty/Easy/Cool picture for every recipe!
I had just discovered AIP and had just bumped into Indira's videos on YouTube. I liked the way she gets to the point and recipes were easy to follow. I bought the book with immense faith and It was the best decision! 1) Cook book with awesome picture for every recipe !! Yes, every recipe. Love it! Who doesn't like that?! No need to visualize how it would turn out. 2) I was skeptical as to how simple ingredients can make it as tasty as the original (recipes like fried rice/Saag/Sambaar from her book) . But it works and does taste soooo good with easy to follow instructions!! 3) It comes out the same way as shown in pictures! Check my pictures. 4) Awesome combinations of vegetables and meat/seafood. I loved the okra , mushroom and chicken stir fry. I never would have mixed okra with chicken if not for this recipe! 5) It is a good AIP cook book even if you are not familiar with Indian cooking because she has super useful sections like "Shopping for Special Ingredients" explaining what , where to purchase , brands and alternatives. I feel most of her recipes call for easy to find Indian spices. 6) Desserts!! WAIT, WHAT? AIP compliant Gulab Jamun, Halwa, cookies. YAY!! I just leave the book in the kitchen counter and use it every day! Just one thing I want to point out. I feel this book is more geared for meat eating folks but I am sure you can always use sweet potatoes or plantains or any other AIP approved vegetables as substitutes.
