Good for -10C Iceland in January.
Purchased a women large for my wife before heading off for a January holiday in Iceland. Vest worked as expected, it helped to kept her warm while out looking at the Northern Lights. Temps dropped to -14 and it still worked well keeping her core warm. Would recommend purchasing an extra battery as its size is relatively small if you’re going to be out multiple nights without charging between.

Just the job, recommended
Purchased as a present for my daughter, she is very happy with the product and with the three settings it is ideal for when she is out in the cold weather. Also without the heat switched on the gillett/vest is comfortable and gives sufficient warmth for cooler days. Recommended

Bit pricey
Except for the price, I am quite happy with this heated Gillet. It does what it says, true to size, and overall looking is reasonably good.I like how fast it heats up, saying you are firstly wearing this Gillet, turn it on then wear your shoes.By the time you wear your shoes, this is already heated up so no need to wait beforeyou leave. Some good features such as temperature level option, fast charging, water resistant fabric, longevity on functionality.,This can last up to 10 h depending on the temperature the Gillet is on.Charging will take up to 4 h on the other side.I would put it on charge in the night, this way I'll have it ready for my day. Also, pretty comfortable due to the fact that is not too heavy or too big, so can move as normal while wearing it.Machine washable, very important as with any other clothing item you will need to wash this from time to time which can be done at less than 50 degrees.Overall, a good product, just on the pricey side if comparing with similar products on market.

Ideal for winter walks but too expensive
This item was only available in a small size under the Vine programme, but fortunately my wife is quite petite and she can just about get it on.The heating panels work very well and are located at the lower front, upper back and collar areas, it is a bit disappointing that there isn't one on the lower back. Having said that we haven't had very cold weather yet so it is difficult to assess if that is a problem. The battery needs to be taken out to be charged, and this takes about 4 hours, it then sits in a little pocket and connects to the power lead. The heating is controlled by a panel on the chest area. It has to be said that the lights on this are rather tacky looking, which is a shame. In terms of general quality the gilet is made of rather ordinary puffer jacket type fabric and certainly doesn't look or feel worth anywhere near the £145.99 that is the asking price at the time of writing.Although it is an excellent way to keep warm on winter walks I just can't recommend it at this price, it is too expensive, especially given the cost of living crisis that is happening at the moment. This is quite ironic given that something which could be useful when energy costs are very high is itself very expensive and so out of reach of a lot of people.

A Bit Pricey, But the Heating Function is Good
As I write this, the price is currently £150.The concept is brilliant, especially at this time of the year when the weather turns early as I leave for work and school run at dawn. The kids schools aren't close, leaving early to beat the traffic is crucial. Here's what I think:The quality of the fabric firstly, is nothing to wrote home about. Certainly not the at the expense it is listed for. I buy items of clothing half the price if this which are of far better quality. The finish too is built on more of a budget initial cost. The tailoring is so-so and the internal padding is minimal. It doesnt look as refined as even the kore suitably price mid-budget Jules gilets. What it does have on its side is that the release if this gilet couldn't be more befitting of the current trend. Puffer gilets are quite fashionable this season. The electronics:The battery pack is removable and requires removing in order to charge it. It took about 4 hours to achieve a full charge the first time I used it.You then simply place it back into its special internal pocket within the gilet, plug it into the cable inside and the zip up the pocket. The heating is controlled via the logo on your left upper chest area.Long press to switch the heating on.Quick press to change between the three heat settings.Red light for high heat.White light for medium heat.Blue light for low heat.Flashing red light whilst it achieves its correct temperature, which only takes a couple of minutes. The heating is very effective and apparent. The packaging too is pretty decent. Not high end, but passable for something a little costly. What I don't like:The glaring light-up logo is a bit distracting to my acquaintances when I wear the gilet. It does cheapen the look of the gilet in all honesty.I opt to only use the 'white light' to keep the logo looking discreet in daylight.Would I recommend it?Probably. If the price was less than half of the current rrp.4 stars

Good concept
So I should of checked the size before ordering as this does not fit me, I can get it on but can't zip! My husband can get it on, and the concept is great - I like how even though it has heaters it is machine washable and it's so lightweight and lovely to wear, this item would be perfect for those football mums like myself who stand out in the cold for hours on end freezing, I mean I didn't even know these existed!! I am a firm believer in you buy cheap you buy twice so spending that little extra on a good quality product is always worth it. The diamond design I like, and I personally don't think this is a cheap quality product, I just wish I could wear it!!
