Great for beer brewing!
I purchased the 100 quart pot for beer brewing.I don't know why I would rate this kettle any lower than 5 stars. If anything the annoying part is that there is a sticker on the bottom of the pot that's impossible to peel off. Other than that, this thing is super sturdy, no issues with heat distribution, it heats up way quicker than a stainless steel pot, and is insanely cheaper than a stainless steel pot.If used for brewing (such as mine), be sure to wash this with dish soap before using it the first time. The oils from the factory when making it are definitely on this pot. Also, boil a full 25 gallons of water with the lid on for an hour before using it for the first time. This will cause the metal to oxidize which means the inside of the pot will turn a bit darker. This is the protecting layer so that none of that aluminum will leech into the beer. From my research and taste, there seems to be no aluminum taste/leeching after doing that boiling process once. When stirring the beer with a spoon just keep in mind to do your best not to scrape the sides/bottom. That would scratch off a small portion of that layer.I'd recommend the pot to anyone. It took me a while to convince myself that I didn't need Stainless Steel and it's worked out just fine and in some ways better (quick ramp up to boiling since the conductivity of aluminum is much higher than Stainless Steel). My wallet thanked me for getting this pot.

Can't complain too much
Good size for a good price. The inside bottom of the pot has ridges from the manufacturing process which will require marginally more scrubbing to clean than otherwise. Other than that it's a 10 gallon pot - what can go wrong? Handles are strong, the pot is light.

solid and well finished
It is indeed commercial grade - 3 mm solid aluminum, equally solid riveted handles, well finished. It's a perfect fit for the Anova Precision Cooker.Β Excellante 8-Quart Aluminum Stock PotExcellante 8-Quart Aluminum Stock Pot

Impressed by the sturdiness of this pot.
I ordered this pot because it seemed like it would offer the best value for a stock pot of its size. Having now used it, I can say that I am impressed by its sturdiness and anticipate that it will last a long time. It is made of aluminum that is probably about 1/4" thick. The handles, which are often a weak point on cheap cookware, are solidly attached and show no signs of flexing or looseness when lifting it while it is full of boiling water. It is worth noting that aluminum is softer than stainless steel. Because of this, the pot will scratch when you slide it around on a metal surface (such as over a gas burner) or clean it with a scouring pad or metal tool. This is only cosmetic and not really a problem because it will still cook food and boil water just as well, it will just look used. Considering that a stainless steel pot of the same build quality would easily cost twice as much or more, this aluminum pot offers a good value.

Seasoning Pot Does Not Insure It Will Not Stain
First, the weight and overall quality of the pot for the dollar is great. But a few things to note. In following the seasoning directions before use very closely, I thought I could avoid the pot from staining when used. Not so. Of course this makes me wonder what I did wrong, or not quite right...but I think I did a good job and still the pot stained after first use. Lid handle is hot! Being aluminum the pan conducts heat very well. With the lid handle being fixed directly to the lid it conducts heat quickly. Be prepared to use a hot pad or oven mitt.
