A friend told me that this supplement is sometimes used to heal gut issues, so since I've had a lot of issues recently, figured I'd give it a try. For the amount you get, this was the most economical brand to purchase. It gives me a four months supply, and if my gut isn't healed by then, I will look to something else. If it is, then it's healed.As stated, it has no taste, but depending upon what you stir it into and how much liquid you dilute it with, you can tell it's there. For me it's disguised the best in grapefruit juice.The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of the plastic waste. You buy by volume or weight. This product settles a lot, and the container is only half full after that happens. I'm not saying you don't get the amount you paid for, but I think the manufacturer could package this in smaller bottles to save on plastic AND make the bottle less wide. Truthfully, it is sometimes hard to open because the lid is SO wide and I have such small hands. But other than that, everything is fine.

Someone else said it stinks, and boy were they right. It smells terrible. That said, it's a great value and I mix it with a scoop of protein so I can't really smell or taste it as I drink it, so it's not a big deal, but if you're not mixing this with another flavor, be prepared to plug your nose
