They will work
They are good and have a lovely grip to them. Still do not feel my thumb is safe from being hyperextended but my fingers feel safe.

Decent for the price
My son found these gloves comfortable and liked the plastic supports. They lasted one season and some of the plastic supports have snapped. The material on the palms is crumbling. This was after only 1 season practicing 2x/week and 1 game on the weekend. He did wash his gloves regularly.
