LITT Maglite Glass Breaker High Strength Cap D Model/Rechargable

This looks great. It has an additional cap that also screws over the glass breaker for everyday use. And it comes with an o-ring seal. That being said, this tailcap is not quite the same diameter as the stock tailcap for my 6 D cell maglite. So it doesn't quite look like it came with the light. Also, more importantly, after transferring the spring from the stock tailcap to the new tailcap, then installing the new tailcap...the flashlight would not turn on. For some reason the contacts from the negative side of the battery would not make contact via the new tailcap. I decided to return this as I feel it is more important that the light work when I'm broke down, than have it not work just to have a glass breaker. You may be able to fiddle with the tailcap and get it to work, but I was not willing to risk not having a light. I take more long trips in places that there is not any help, so I need a reliable flashlight more than a glass breaker. I had no problems getting a full refund as this was shipped by Amazon.

I really like this,it is a little smaller diameter than the mag lite, but nice to have, and also to replace glass ,thicker, also nice , thanks
