This stuff is amazing!
I rarely write reviews, but this spray is awesome. My two fuzzy girls usually spend the day running around the house. They can get pretty hyper. They also spend a good portion of the day barking at every dog and person that walks by our house. It can get pretty intense at times. One day they were playing and running around and almost took my son down the stairs with them. I got this spray and some bandanas hoping this would work after reading all of the positive reviews. I have to say that I was not disappointed. This stuff has been amazing. Since spraying some of this on the bandanas in the morning and putting around their necks, they have all but stopped running around the house. One of my dogs still barks at passersby but its not that bad, the worst barker has stopped altogether. They no longer look out the window looking for someone to bark at. The are so mellow now. It lasts for almost the entire day. I highly recommend for anyone looking for something to help calm their dogs.

A Worthy Purchase
I saw this product when I visited my vet and decided to give it a try since my dog is a bit high strung. I’m very pleased with the results. She does settle down and becomes calm when I spray ThunderEssence in my room, on her blanket, the rug, or her body. I usually use it in the evening to help her sleep and during storms instead of constantly digging into my rug and pacing. The bonus is that the fragrance is pleasant as well. The positive results made it worth the money that I spent.

Helps with Anxiety
I got the ThunderShirt for my rescue pup and it helped a lot with her stress going outside, but I wanted to try the spray to see if it would help her calm down when she gets too overwhelmed and shakes. I used 2-3 sprays on her shirt and it made a noticeable difference; the spray doesn't stop her from getting anxious but it helps her calm down and shake less when she's already overly stressed out. The smell is very nice and to me, it's mostly lavender with a little hint of chamomile. I think I can smell the geranium but it's hard to tell. The spray is also a bit strong even with 1-2 sprays so if you or your pup have a sensitive nose this may be too much. Do keep in mind that geranium oil can be toxic to cats if not diluted enough so if you have any, avoid spraying in the air around them or any surfaces they might walk on just to be safe. I only use the spray on my pup's shirt or on her bed, which is in a crate and our cat can't get to it.

Smells lovely...
...but didn't work for my fur baby. Purchased it because he has suddenly become afraid of loud noises and we had the 4th of July coming up. Unfortunately, for some reason, celebration for the 4th this year began in May with people setting off what I guess are called "bombs" which are extremely loud. These became more numerous, of course, as time progressed forward to the 4th. So I bought this and sprayed his bed, his fur, the sofa, and anything else that he would lay on or under. It smells lovely, it really does. It just didn't work. Maybe because I will typically purchase lavender scented cleaning products and air fresheners, so he is used to the smell? In any case, we survived.

Best Product on the market for pet anxiety
Absolutely amazing product! I have a pitbull that we adopted who has gone through some PTSD because we lost our other two dogs that he was very close to, to illness and it really affected him mentally so storms terrify him now. I decided to give this product a try because when storms roll in he shakes so terribly for hours on end. I tried this product and within 1 minute his shaking stops.!! I recommend this product to everyone for their pets. It helps him calm down and he’s not so stressed out.

Skeptic, now Believer
When I ordered this product, both my wife and I were skeptical of the product description reporting an 80 percent success rate with calming dogs. I figured if it were true, my Shitzu Isabelle, would be one of the 20 percent for whom it would NOT work. Well, we were both wrong. I sprayed her neck and forehead directly, shielding her eyes with a hand. I then took her for a walk. Normally, Isabelle will bark and drag me towards any passing dog or passing pedestrian. If she is allowed to greet another dog, it generally doesn't work out, especially if the other dog sniffs her. She gets upset and growels at the other dog. So what happened with this walk now with the Thunder calming aroma on her seemed seemed nothing short of miraculous. An owner of a Golden Retriever let her dog go without a leash out to their treelawn just as we were passing by their house. Isabelle, instead of freaking out, completely ignored this dog, as we contnued to walk within 2 feet of the other dog. The owner, watching her dog from her house, saw us and ran to put a leash on her dog. We then turned back and had an uneventful meet and greet with the dog and owner. When we arrived home, I noticed another amazing change in my dog. Normally, Isabelle spends most of her day pearched on the top of our couch looking out the front window where she barks at anyone walking by. No longer was she doing that. She seemed more relaxed with less barking until after a few hours the aroma wore off. All of these changes were totally unexpected, because we brought this product only to help calm Isabelle during thunderstorms. For that purpose, I can't report a change only because we haven't had a thunderstorm since we purchased the product. However, because it seemed to calm her during the 4th of July fireworks, we are hopeful it will help her handle thunder better as well.

Amazing response
Last evening we had the tiniest surprise lightning/thunder storm. As usual on cue, my 62 lb. Golden mix, Rosie, started panting, drooling, shaking, tail between her legs. I had just received this stuff so tried spraying into the air at first. Since she was pacing, there was no point in spraying on any bedding—which is pretty much any couch or bed she chooses. Then I sprayed a bit onto her back. Normally, she does not EVER like me to spray anything on her—she usually takes off. She just stood there, like in a trance. Not believing—I tried it again. Stillness. Then she took a few steps, her tail popped out from between her legs, she laid down & went to sleep peacefully. Holy crap! This was an instant reaction! Maybe might use a little less next time, though the smell was quite pleasant, there was a slight alcohol scent that burnt my nose & gave me a touch of a headache. I would suggest spraying it, then stepping out of the way of the spray till it settles. For now, I turned on the ceiling fan & all was well.

Okay, this actually works!
Of my two dogs, the youngest has always had such bad travel anxiety that it made even a trip to the park a rough experience for all of us. Screaming, scratching, pacing, drooling, the works. For whatever reason, my husband and I decided to bring our dogs along on a road trip around New England and I was desperate to find something that would ease the anxiety. I ordered this stuff based on reviews saying that it helped calm other people’s dogs down and man, I just have to say this stuff actually works! I just spritz the dogs’ car hammock down before we hit the road and within minutes both of our dogs are calm, collected, and ready to go. The first time I was straight up amazed, and now that we’re several days into our trip I just have to say thank you ThunderEase for actually working wonders. I’ve included a picture of my dogs comfortably snoozing in their car hammock which is a sight I NEVER imagined I would see. No more screaming, scratching, pacing, or drooling. Just the occasional whimper to open the window so he can enjoy some fresh air. I never leave reviews but I thought this was absolutely worth every penny and wanted to share my experience. If you’re considering trying this out for a pup with anxiety, it’s absolutely worth a try.

Thunder Essence
I bought Thunder Essence to replace the Thunder Ease spray which is finishing soon. What I like about Thunder Essence is the essential oil which is safer. Though my dog still goes crazy when the Thunder is extremely loud, I find that it’s effective to calm him down for normal Thunder . It smells good too. At least I do what I can to calm him down during a thunderstorm. If there’s other products out there that is more effective, I’ll definitely buy it. So it’s a 4 stars here
