I take care of a large number of cats that arrive in all stages of difficult-to-treat health conditions. Some have very painful crystals in their urine, and can be in various stages of Urinary Tract difficulties, including infections (UTIs, bleeding, even kidney failure. I use a variety of treatments and resources, including Chanca Piedra. I stumbled across this while looking for something for me, as I was developing some gravel in my gallbladder (precursor to stones). I like using liquid extracts for me; but often the extracts are preserved in alcohol, which I consider unacceptable for cats. I found this loose tea. I add a pinch stirred into canned food. The cats receiving it don’t seem to mind it - in fact some relish the taste (it smells and tastes like greens, which certain cats love). I’m fortunate in that the cats I’m treating have been gracious enough to learn to urinate in clean, no litter pans (or pee pads), so I can check their urine. I’m always so delighted to see their urine turn from bloody, sludgy and full of crystals to clear and healthy. I use it @ every other day for cats in crisis, then slowly cut back. I use it sparingly as a medicine, not as a daily supplement. (More is not better.) If crystals reappear, then I add the Chanca Piedra again. It’s very important to feed high quality canned or wet foods, and stay away from dry cat kibble. My favorite canned food for cats with urinary tract problems is Halo - it’s healthy and my little friends thrive on it. I use the subscribe and save program for that. There are additional things you can use for cats with kidney issues, far beyond inadequate sole reliance on “prescription diets” but that’s too much to include here in this review. I hope this review is helpful. I had a friend who lost a beloved cat years ago. She did all the right things she was told to do - but it wasn’t enough. Her grief was horrible, and when I received a cat years later with this problem, I knew from her great loss, I had to go beyond what the local vet prescribed. I love this product I went to the ER with pain in my side, blood pressure elevated, vomiting. I was told I had kidney stones and one was about to pass. So I was sent home with pain meds., and passing a stone. I wanted to pass the stone without being admitted to the hospital cause this was not my first experience with kidney stones. I found pederia chanca tea on u tube and wanted to try it I had nothing to lose. It worked great! I dranked the tea for about one week and my stones went away.

I bought this because of a utube video I saw of a guy who says it helped him pass his 5mm and 6mm stones and according to other positive reviews. After the second day drinking the tea My pain and discomfort was gone, the taste is not bad but I make mine a little less concentrated. The only downside so far is that the tea is so thin powder like, to strain it I use a coffee filter. I have 1 stone, which I hope it can be gone or at least smaller by the time I see my urologist.

Love , love this tea. After about the 2nd day my urinary symptoms went away. This stuff tastes great too, love it and will stay on it and enjoy. The mix is a little fine and dusty so I used the finest mesh tea infuser that I had and made sure I wet it down before I put the tea in, which seemed to help. This is really great stuff and I can only highly recommend.

I have been drinking this tea for a long time to get rid of & prevent getting additional kidney stones. I was happy to find it again as it has been out of stock for a long time. It is mild but I mix it with ginger tea or green tea. I recommend it if you have kidney stones.

It seems to help with the pain. I been drinking this everyday. BUT I have not passed any stone yet for the last 2 months. On the web it says loose tea leafs, BUT it looks more of powder. I am planning to try the liquid tincture which is 5:1 ratio more potent hopefully it will help.

I bought this tee for my self since I was having discomfort with my kidneys. It really worked on the pain! I kept having it and it worked every time. I am not sure it actually treats kidney stones, but it sure helps with the pains! Great product

Last December i had an emergency room visit. I was in extreme pain. They scanned me and said it looked like a large kidney stone stuck in the canal exit point from my kidney. I was scheduled for surgery, but heard about Chanka Piadra. I drank nothing but Chanka Piadra and lemon juice water. I began to think it wasn't going to help my reoccurring pain, but the evening of the eleventh day out came one very large stone and two small stones. I don't know if it was a coincidence, but these are the facts. I was so excited i had to wake my wife to tell her i peed them out. This stuff tastes pretty good too. I'm wary of "miracle " claims, but these are the facts. It's been a number of months with no pain and was glad to cancel my surgery.
