LEPA presented the working prototype of NEOllusion; this unique RGB cooler instantly became a fascinating eye-catcher for its vivid luminance and impeccable RGB lighting effects, the world's 1st remote controlled RGB air cooler. Unique Remote Controlled RGB Lighting Approach, No Software Required Unlike most of the peers using LED fans to light up coolers, NEOllusion is designed with LED lighting strips on both sides of the heatsink to create one-of-a-kind illumination effects. On top of that, NEOllusion features a remote control, which allows users to control and adjust the color, brightness and lighting modes. The remote control (effective range up to 3 meters) is included and the operation is very simple and intuitive. No app or software is required; therefore no need to bother with complicated documentation and cumbersome installation any more. High-performance Cooling Power, TDP up to 200W Equipped with 4 x 6mm heat-pipes, NEOllusion is built with HDT (Heat-pipe Direct Touch) technology to help eliminate hot spots on the CPU faster. The Super Nano Thermal Conductive (SNTC) coating can help protect the heatsink from oxidation and deliver better heat dissipation. Furthermore, its slim heatsink construction provides perfect compatibility with RAM, allowing users to install high-end memory modules. Last but not least, NEOllusion comes with an advanced Dual Convex Blade PWM fan for superb cooling performance. The default fan speed range is from 600 to 1800 RPM; however, NEOllusion also includes a speed adopter to reduce the fan speed (400 - 1000 RPM) for silent enthusiasts.

Looks great, works well, and syncs with Asus Aura
While this may not be the best CPU cooler on the market, it does the job well and for the price, it's not bad. The RGB is very vibrant and it even syncs with Asus Aura which I was thrilled about after installing it in my build. The cooler is sleek and I love the black color of the heat sync. The slim design of this cooler makes it a bit easier to install than some of the bulkier coolers and with this you don't have to worry about getting your RAM installed or it being too large to fit in your case (though you should always verify that before buying any CPU cooler).

Great cooler a few shortcomings
Easy to install (for intel) keeps cpu really cool, knocked 10 degrees of AIO it was replacing. Picture shows a multi color rgb wave like effect, it does not do that its a solid color fade in and out. It might do that if using rgb header and aftermarket software like aura sync, but I am using the controller. Also I think the fan should be rgb as well, Also it has built in plastic clips on the included fan to attach the fan, not wire clips like the deep cool gammax GT comes with I used on another pc. So you are stuck with the included non rgb fan unless you find wire clips or a lepa fan somewhere. I looked online even the lepa website and did not see any lepa fans or wire clips for this offered anywhere so you cant do a push pull or change to another fan. On my deepcool just used the included extra set of clips and bought a deepcool fan and rgb push pull. One star lost for that but still a great cooler which is most important.

... a ver well made CPU cooler and it looks nice to, with bright RGB lighting but no rgb ...
I have to say this a ver well made CPU cooler and it looks nice to,with bright RGB lighting but no rgb fan to go with :( The heat spreader fins are thick looks like they can take a beating. I love the black on black paint with the RGB is great looking i have to say but why no RGB fan in the box? The only bad thing about this cooler is the way you have to install this CPU, its almost a two man job but it can be done by one person with good dexterity; other then that this is a great product.

Works pretty good, looks ever better
Needed something better than stock Intel cooler, but nothing to extravagant for my 8700 (non-K) i7. Chose this one due to the LED lighting on the heatsink looking cool. It syncs with my Asus Aura lighting and looks good.Taking off 1 star because the Lepa logo on the top of the heatsink is obnoxiously bright and overly prominent. I ended up cutting a piece of electrical take down to size and putting it over it (and, even then, you can still kinda see it through the tape, it's that bright!). Also, because the cooling performance is just OK - make no mistake, you're paying premium only for the RGB bling here

Dont buy for AMD CPU!
Dont buy for AMD CPU! Worst set of instructions imaginable, plus no install videos online. The Intel set up seems crazy easy but they really made things complicated if you are trying to put this on an AMD chipset!

2 plugs coming from fin stack
Directions don't explain the 2 plugs coming directly from the fin stack. It seems to indicate using the included 4 pin rgb cable adapter (not the fan speed reducer cable) but this didn't seem to light the leds when plugged into a Gigabyte motherboard (Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 in LED_C2 header - yellow wire as 12v like pictured).Edit: Increasing a star. No response from Lepa however I finally figured out the missing instruction. The second cable is for led power connection. It can use the included molex adapter or plug in direct if you have somewhere else for 12v and GND. It's amazing this is omitted from instructions since the leds won't light without it.

Works great! No wave RGB though!
Love this air cooler. Easy install and keeps my CPU decently cooled. Gets 4 stars because you see the wave like effect in the photo there?! You don't get that in real life. Kind of false representation if you ask me.
