Fantastic; Does Exactly What They Should
My dog is 15 and has recently started having accidents some nights. She sleeps at/on the foot of my bed, but she might sleep to the left, right or center, or any combination, so I wanted something that 1. would protect my bedding & mattress, and 2. would be large enough to cover the entire foot of my bed, which is a 'full' size. I spent more on these over others on Amazon because it had excellent reviews and I'm glad I went with them, they're worth the cost. The quality is nice, they aren't thick but they feel well-made. There's no "plastic liner" feel like I was expecting, the top and bottom just feel like nice fabric. The blue/green side goes down and the white top is lightly quilted, making it easy to know which side is up. The size is almost perfect, it covers the bottom 1/3 of my bed for the most part. I bought the 34" x 52" size. I pondered positioning for a while, under the sheets, over the sheets, etc. Originally, I was thinking to try to keep dog hair off them, but I gave that idea up because it's so much easier just to put it on top, so if she slips I can pull it right off the bed to wash it and all my own bedding is dry and untouched. She has slipped several times and when I wake up I can feel the damp spot on the pad, yet underneath is 100% dry. No pee has ever beaded up or rolled off, it seems to get sucked right up. So far they wash and dry easily. I was hoping to hand wash them so I didn't need to use the washer for a single item, but they're a little too stiff and bulky for handwashing so I go ahead and machine wash them. I use warmish-hot water and no obvious shrinkage occurred. I air dry them and do not use fabric softener because I want to preserve the stiff feel, it makes them easier to position on the bed. The only issue is not with the product itself, but my dog, which is that she likes to "ball up" her bedding, which is usually her dog blanket. But I don't want her moving this out of position, so I put metal clips (like a heavy duty spring clamps) at the corners and along the foot edge and attach it to my blanket. Not the prettiest fix but it does the job. With the fabric bottom, it would likely stay in place for most people or for dogs who don't dig up their bedding, I just thought I'd mention it. One last thing: I bought one, then liked it and immediately realized I needed more, so I can have one in the wash and another on the bed. So I ordered a 2-pack the second time, so now I have three. I put one down beside the bed on the floor like a toss rug before we go to sleep because she sometimes likes to get down and lie on the floor during the night. She seems to like it actually, she lays right on it. So one goes on the floor at night, one goes on the bed and then that one gets swapped out for the third one when it gets washed. This method is working great. I highly recommend these for people or pets, the quality is nice and they work perfectly.

Really waterproof but I wish they had a size that fit a whole cal king.
Ordered two of these to fit my cal-king after pee went through not one but two of my waterproof fitted sheet mattress covers. You can see in my video we tossed about 2 cups of water on it and we let it sit for 50 minutes and it did not soak through at all. Because we used water Iโm not sure how smell permeates through this but itโs definitely doing much better than my waterproof fitted sheet. I do wish they had a large enough option that could fit my bed, but I ordered two and they provide the bed full coverage. I did put them in the washer and dryer on delicate and everything washed well.

For the price, this is a fantastic, eco-friendly product.
I've been searching for a mattress protector that truly balances protection with comfort, and the CoolShields pad has been an excellent find. After several weeks of use, itโs proven itself as a reliable part of our household. The 100% waterproof protection is absolutely legitimate. It has successfully guarded our mattress against nighttime accidents and spills without a single leak. What impressed me most, however, is the breathable cotton top layer. Unlike some plasticky or hot protectors, this one doesnโt make you feel like youโre sleeping on a tarpโit stays surprisingly comfortable and dry. Care is a breeze. Iโve washed and tumble-dried it on low multiple times, and it comes out looking like new with no shrinking or damage to the waterproof layer. This durability makes it a great value. We primarily use it for our toddlerโs bed-wetting phase, but its versatility is a huge plus. Knowing itโs also perfect for postpartum recovery, incontinence, or even protecting the sofa from pet accidents makes it a versatile purchase. The OEKO-TEX certification gave me extra peace of mind, especially for family use. Why not 5 stars? The pad does have a slight initial stiffness, which softened after the first wash but is still noticeable. Also, while it stays cool, the sound of the material is a faint rustle that might bother very light sleepers until they get used to it. Final Verdict: For the price, this is a fantastic, eco-friendly product. It delivers exactly what it promises: worry-proof protection without sacrificing comfort. Highly recommended for anyone needing dependable, washable protection for their bed, sofa, or car seat.

Works great for us
My hubby had surgery, is now home and incontinent at times. This product has been great for us. Have washed both pads multiple times in cold water and forgot and washed on hi heat once. I put in dryer on medium heat and dries fast. If not quite dry, I hang on ironing board if I need to put other things in dryer. Would buy again.

Works like it should for a while
Works great and the size is perfect for a twin bed, daughter moves around alot during the night but this covers enough. It's already been through some washes and still no leaks Update!! After about a month, washed it on delicates and dried on low, been through some washes but less than 10 times, this morning it had leaked through

Nice color on one, but unfortunately blah potentially dingy white faces up
They seem ok, but we can't answer questions on absorbency or stain resistance as we haven't had to put them to the test with leaked fluid matter. As a proactive measure, we keep sets bagged under the seat of both our vehicles for use when we have passengers or items that might leak. If the pad works well, it's worth the extra "baggage." My family members with incontinence have the pads on their beds and chairs. The color is pretty enough although bland with a single hue. However, the known downside is that the pretty color side goes down while the white, which I'm also afraid will easily get dingy from use, washing, etc., faces up! If the manufacture is going to either have white on one or specify a certain side faces up, please do not require the white side to face up on every single pad! They are somewhat expensive so, again, I really hope they work when an accident occurs!

Have Used And Recommend!
After some health problems and an unexpected hospitalization, I purchased these for home use. I am so glad that I did! They were the perfect size, they are soft and comfortable to lay on, and I can sleep at night without worrying. They launder very nicely. It is nice to get a good night. Sleep without worrying about changing bed lines in the middle of the night or ruining our mattress. I definitely recommend these! If you have a need, you will not be sorry you purchased these.
