CogAT ® Practice Test (Grade 3 and 4): Includes Tips for Preparing for the CogAT® Test

I give these books to my children while on break from school to keep their mind going. They are great practice questions for the cogat as they really do prepare them for the test. We didnt really use this for test preparation this time though.

Its what you would expect as it is just a practice test. I would say that for something you spend $30 on you could get more than that. You would definitely expect all the questions and answers to be right and we have already come across one incorrect question: Section 4: question 15, it should be 104->59 not 104-> 69 which means someone can get stuck on that question and never find an answer until they give up and look at the answer key and realize the question was wrong.

Pros: some very useful tips on how to solve Cogat questions.Cons: some of the questions in the book is out dated, not comply with current CogAT test.

My kid went through all the questions in a few minutes and said that the tests in previous years were much harder than this. These practice questions aren't representative of the actual exam questions. They will mislead you into thinking you're well prepared and into a false sense of security.

Not very good quality. Much of the verbal sections do not look like they use correct English. Big ? on this book for cognitive skills practice.

The problems are quite good and comprehensive. Looks like the problems have been fixed. Good book for the price. Just got a copy in their promotional sale.

If you consider book price and book contain is really bad. This book price should be a 2-3 dollar not more than that. If I saw book contain before, I didn’t buy this book. Not sure I can return now or not.
