ZOHAN EM054 Electronic Shooting Ear Protection

These are a must have for deer hunting and range shooting. I recommend buying these. BTW, they also have great customer service. One of the units had a defective mic on the one side. They quickly responded to my customer service request, and had a replacement sent within a week.

I like these by default, but really like them with some upgrades. I bought these because they looked like a deal and I upgraded the pads to gel. I ran to a vest mic from my baofeng uv5rs. From the mic, I ran an aux cable from the mic to the ears and they sound great. One thing you'd notice is that the audio is mono and will only come through one ear. A simple mod on the aux cable can fix this. A little bit of solder to bridge the tip and first ring will make your radio come the headphones on both sides. I think these are worth looking at if you want to run with radios.

Sound quality is OK with continuing noise like at an air show you can hear crackling otherwise 5 stars. They are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time and look good.

These were a good value but after trying them at 2 indoor ranges I discovered that the microchip is just not as sophisticated as the ones used by Walker. I compared a Walker brand earmuffs against these and the Zohan brand would intermittently amplify a gun shot sound for a split-second before muting it if I turned happened to turn head toward the source of the gunshot. And I could not always hear the voice of the range officer when he was giving instructions only 8 ft away from me. The Zohan was fine for the money but the electronics were just better on the Walker and I wanted to protect my hearing as much as possible.

I'm a casual target shooter, mostly indoor ranges. I shoot everything from a .22 to a 12 gauge, both pistol and rifle. I was looking for something comparable to my Walkers' Razor for when I have guests with me. These definitely fit the bill. They are so much better than my Peltors in terms of hearing protection. The mikes are pretty much indistinguishable from the Razors and they fit well on my fairly large head, but also on my wife's (much smaller) head. The slim profile is great for rifle shooting. They are comfortable, intuitive volume adjustment, and come with their own little carrying bags. I am very happy about this purchase. Worth every cent for the double pack at about half the price of the Razors.

Gostei deles, mas acabo usando sem as baterias. Nao achei que vedam o suficiente para precisar delas, então qdo estamos usando um 308 por exemplo, sinto que eles poderiam ser melhores. Hoje teria comprado um abafador passivo de melhor qualidade
