Bought this to be able to have for my daddy when he comes to visit. Although he is very healthy and can do a lot of things on his own - Thank GOD, he is starting to get older and gets a little more tired sooner. So bought this to make it easier for him to take a good shower and not get tired of standing so fast. Great Buy. This was very easy to assemble- and it is very sturdy in the shower. This has been such a great product in durability, and perfect in size that we have just left it in our shower and both my wife and I use it to make showers more pleasant and comfortable. Does not slip and move when twisting and turning in the chair, and on the chair itself has a non-slip mat to sit on so that it makes for a more sturdy sit when taking a shower. I am very impressed with this chair. It is easy to assemble but the written instructions were a little confusing. We wound up using the video on Amazon. That aside, this chair is very sturdy. It holds my weight easily and didn’t once try to tip over or move. I love the height I’m able to get as I have a weak right leg and it is hard to stand up if I’m sitting in a low position. With the height of this chair I was actually able to stand without the aid of my safety bar. (I used the highest setting.) It fit easily into my shower. (An older tube might have a problem.) There is ample room on the seat and I was comfortable. This chair is well worth the money.

I can see that this is a high-quality product and is quite sturdy. The cross-bracing is great and provides additional confidence that the legs won't splay out when used by a heavy person. Good instructions, and they also provide some extra hardware if needed. It takes some time to assemble, but it is designed quite well, and the assembly went smoothly. So I rate the sturdiness as high, I have no concerns over the seat or legs collapsing on the floor at all. My only concern is that it could easily topple over when used for heavy/bariatric patients, particularly if trying to transfer from a wheelchair to this chair and the shower floor is wet. I realize this is not considered a shower transfer bench, it is instead a shower chair. Nonetheless, I feel the seat needs to be wider and deeper, and the legs should be spread out more for bariatric use, which is how this product is being advertised. For that reason, I'm rating the STABILITY as low. Overall, this may be a great chair for lighter patients, high quality design and materials, but the toppling concern makes me wary of using this for bariatric patients.

Totally satisfied with this shower chair. It is well made with quality materials. Good, easy to follow instructions and no tools required for assembly.

I am over 60 and overweight plus have several autoimmune issues which causes some balance issues. I have not enjoyed taking a shower in a long time due to fear of falling. OT talked me into buying a shower chair. I first measured the interior size of my bathtub and went searching for one that would fit. this one is a tad too big but OMG it makes showering comfortable and enjoyable again. I no longer fear taking a bath or washing my hair. Now mind you having a shower head that is detachable with a long hose is very helpful also. I luckily have one with a 6 foot hose so I can spray where I want when I want to. Now I can safely wash my feet, shave my legs and wash my hair. I am sorry I waited this long. This chair also carries my weight easily. It is sturdy, roomy I have lots of room around my hips and I love the arms are sturdy to use to push off if I need to. Very happy to have found this chair it is perfect for me.

It was reasonably easy to put together. An online video from the QR code helped with one part I wasn't really sure on. Height adjustable and okay comfort wise.
