L'VOWFashion Feather Cape Stole Black White Beige Shawl Iridescent

I removed the ribbon ties and pinned this to my wedding dress -- it was a HUGE hit. I definitely recommend. I really kind of bought this on a whim and wasn't sure if I would use it, but I got a resounding yes from my bridesmaids. I took it off after the ceremony so that I could have better movement during the reception including first dance. I am attaching two photos so that you can see the amazingness for yourself.

There are a number of different feathery capes available here. If you want something that looks like an inexpensive Halloween costume, this is the right one for you. If you want something that looks elegant, this is NOT the one for you.The feathers are very large. There are two layers of them, so the coverage is pretty full, but the layers themselves are not tightly packed. You can see a LOT of the quill; you can sorta make it out in the picture, but it's way more obvious in person. The entire item is very stiff, which means fragile when you're talking about feathers.The approximately 3/4 circle is important, too. I don't know what kind of sylph they got for the photo, but this is not likely to tie fully around most human's necks nor meet itself in the front. For me, it covered my shoulders about as much as large epaulettes, leaving a lot of the thin, ribbon-like string obvious across my neck.The string is its own problem, as it interferes with any kind of necklace you might want to wear, as your décolletage is definitely going to show. I ended up pinning the thing down to my shirt at each shoulder, and trying to stash the ribbon-string into my bodice.Am considering returning this, but I might have a use for it for something like a post-apocalyptic, bird-creature, or "wild witch of the swamps"-type costume. Just keep in mind this isn't a good wrap for prom, the opera, or the theatre.

This was larger and better designed than I had hoped! I used it as a prop for a themed photo shoot (I'm a pet photographer). Colors edited in post on the final image. It's a warm beige IRL.

Ehh.. not sold for the price. I 100% could make this by sewing feathers to a tutu. I was trying to avoid that hassle but this is not worth the price. I’ve included several pictures. I purchased for my 2 year old to wear as Daisy Duck for Halloween. It also looks like either mold or pen marks (I really think mold) on the inside lining. Since I can’t really wash it I’ll probably be returning this. I think it would for sure need to be paired with something no matter how you style it or how old you are or what it’s for. A tutu, etc would need to be an addition.

I am 5'2" so my shoulder span is not that wide but this fit wonderfully on me. I used it to wear it to a Gala for work and not only did it fancy up my plain dress but I got stopped by so many other women asking about it. I didn't feel the ribbons were fancy enough so I added a fake pearl necklace to clasp it together. The color of the actual feathers were not as varied as the picture, it was mostly one color but I still really liked it. One side had some pretty thin feathers but for the most part I def got my monies worth with it. It is an interesting piece and I will wear it again.

Minutes after unboxing this item a feather fell off. I am a little disappointed that it wasn’t more high quality. For the price I imagined it would be a bit more full, but I noticed that you can sort of see through the feathers, and there looks like there could have been more feathers sewn in to cover the see through fabric underneath. I still plan to use this item for a Halloween costume and it will probably do just fine, but if you are looking to use this item for cosplay or a film, I would not recommend buying it.

Exactly what we needed for a Swan Lake ballet costume. These are small for a shawl, so I ended up ordering 2 to use a toppers on the tutu. They look great. As they are natural feathers, they're slightly off white as you would expect. Fit my needs perfectly.

Really beautiful feathers, glossy, nice length; however, the strings to tie it broke off. I bought 3 in different colors. The gray one was ok, the black one had one string fall off the side while it was tied, and the white one did the same, except one side broke, I stapled it back on, then the other side snapped and I stapled that as well, then the first one broke again. I know that's all very confusing. Bottom line, the feather part is nice, the strings are way too weak

I was a little unsure about this when I bought it. Just because I prefer to purchase items like these in store so I can see what it looks like. However I was very pleased! It is great quality and the feathers are very soft as well. I do plan to shorten the ribbon that ties it together in the front but that's just a personal preference of mine. Great product!

A bit expensive for what it is but it will work fine , was kind of hoping for it to be a bit thicker it's pretty thin. Edit: it appears to be actual feather but there's no indication of what kind of bird it came from and I seem to be allergic to it. So if you're allergic to real feather pass on it , I'll have to return it.

Je m'en servirais lors de mon prochain "grandeur nature" medieval fantastique ... Qualite surprenante .... Duvet tres doux , agréable a porter et facile a mettre.

Not as full as I would have liked and the ribbon doesn't stay tied well, but after some adjustments I think it'll be nice.
