I have a little 14 year old Shih tzu that needs to take medication for a heart murmur and I needed something that would be a good way for me to have him take his medicine. I ran across this product and decided to get it and give it a try. Like any new "treat" he wasn't too sure about it and it took a couple of tries. He can be pretty picky when it comes to new treats. Now, however, he waits patiently for me to get his dose ready and he gobbles it down without hesitation. The product is so easy to use and he enjoys taking his medication inside this tasty treat. I'm planning on getting it again and highly recommend this product for anyone who has a pet that requires regular medication disbursement. Also, for the price, it's actually pretty inexpensive compared to other medication disbursement methods. Since it's a paste- like substance, it's easy to envelope the pill and shape it to whatever size you need. If it's a small pill, like the size my Shih tzu takes, you don't need that much. A pinch is plenty big enough. Another plus is that it's soft enough that, if your pet has a challenging time chewing, it's soft enough for them to handle. Again, highly recommended.

I thought I would hate this. I was sure this was a mistake order. I was wrong. When I ordered these I thought I was getting pill pockets. The picture has a little pill and it looks like its inside of a pre made pocket. I did not try and read the description that well (obv that would have been informative for me). I am glad I didn't read the description though because If I had realized it was a jar of dog pill wrap paste I would not have ordered. That would have been a huge mistake on my part. At first I was upset that I had ordered this, but then after a few days of using these I was turned into a fan. They are so versitle! You can make the wrap any size! You can customze to each sized pill! It lasts a long time! My dog loves the taste and doesn't try to spit out the pill inside! No stomach issues seen!

Theses dog pill wraps are a total lifesaver when it comes to giving meds! My dog is usually super picky and somehow always manages to spit out pills, no matter how well I try to hide them. But with these, she takes her medicine without a second thought, she things it's a treat! The texture is soft and easy to mold around different pill sizes, and they don't crumble or dry out quickly. They also don't have a strong smell to me, but clearly have enough flavor to foot my dog. I love how convenient they are, no more wrapping pills in cheese or peanut butter and hoping for the best. Highly recommend if you've got a stubborn pup when it comes to medicine time. These make it stress-free for both of us.

I have to finish giving my Old English Bulldog an awful lot of medication right now. I got tired of putting the pills down his throat so I thought I’d try these. Well first of all, my dog didn’t even want to eat this stuff without a pill in it. If I got him to put it in his mouth, he couldn’t swallow it. It would just slide out onto the floor with the pills still in it. I tried following with a treat he likes, but the treat would get eaten and the wrapped pills would just land on the floor. I’m done trying. This pill wrap stuff was a waste of money.

This is the best product EVER! - Best thing I've tried yet, my dog is extremely suspicious and has an excellent nose. But this stuff does the trick every time.

It’s absolutely excellent for those who have allergies! My cat is allergic to chicken and possibly fish and it’s one of the only options I found without those ingredients. It’s been invaluable giving her medication. The meds go down easier, she is less traumatized and me too.

I feed my dog raw food with homemade bone broth and organic pumpkin, and add two supplements. Her blood workat age 10 1/2 is perfect! But she has arthritis and I have been using this around her pain meds. It is by far the best thing I have ever used to induce my Bostons to take medications. She loves it and takes her pain meds right down. Easy 5 stars, except for some ingredients I wish were replaced: wheat flour (could be cassava flower or another flour), Corn syrup (anything else really), Vegetable oil (tallow would be much better), maltodextrin (a corn byproduct not good for dogs or humans.) Not sure about the other ingredients. But I reassure myself that wrapping her meds in this wrap twice a day (the consistency of cookie dough) makes it a breeze to give to her so it is worth it.

This stuff is *amazing*. Our epileptic pupper has to take 1.5 large pills 3x a day. We'd been hiding them in larger snacks, which was causing him to gain weight, causing us to modify his dosage. This stuff takes a very small pinch to cover an entire pill (again, large pills) and doesn't seem to be enough to worry about weight gain. He LOVES the bacon and cheese taste (it actually smells like bacon and cheese!). I'm not sure how many doses this is going to "cover", but we've barely put a dent in it over the last week. Will definitely order again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This might be good for some dogs but both of my dogs refused it - with or without pills.

Our small dog is old now and has to take medication regularly, she’s an expert at pretending to swallow her tablets and we can find them later in hidden places! This has been such a help, she loves it as a treat with the tablet wrapped inside and it doesn’t upset her stomach.

I had high hopes with this but alas my dog won't go near it. She doesn't like even the smell.
