VerRich Silver 90x210cm Aluminium Chain Curtain Metal Door Fly Screens

This has been a god send and really keeps the bugs out, had mine up for about a year now and is still like new, easy to adjust the length of the chains and being aluminium are fairly lightweight, very easy to fit and comes with everything you need, and can be taken down and put up as needed, good value for money and good quality.

We have had this fly screen a few weeks now and find it very effective. Great product.

I think the fixings are for bricks. No fixings supplied for uPVC doors. I screwed my own plastic hooks to the top of the door frame which works fine. Product works well, it looks lovely and keeps the flies out however way overpriced.

These are great aluminium curtains to help keep the flys out. I’ve bought two recently and really pleased with the results. Light enough to walk through and even my cat can work it out! We’ve adjusted the length to just about the door sill height to make it easier to close the door. Easy to adjust length by unhooking the links you don’t want. We’ve only had them for a few weeks but well pleased. 👌 Only feedback is we used two screws instead of the very long and robust hooks provided. The screws are enough to keep it in place and easy to remove at the end of the season.

This product arrived and I have to say the packaging was amazing even to the point each end had a ribbon tie which was tied so you just pulled it free! It had been wrapped in a protective cover and then I'm bubble wrap! Very impressed! It fits perfectly at my back door length and width....so true to size...the chains can be removed if required....now the fitting was easy if you know how to use a drill!!! I wanted to hang it 1 time only so my drill man fixed it in the brickwork....it is very heavy and excellent quality well worth the money! No flies or bugs came through it and I live near horse yards so flies were horrendous....not anymore! The noise of the chains as you go in and out are like a wind chime lol .... I've tried netted curtains than stick together. Yes they work but get dirty after time and not easy to walk through especially carrying something. Next plastic ribbons that hang down. Trouble with these is when the wind blows these come apart and let the flies in as they are light weight. Now we have these have been using them now since April and they are excellent. The weight keeps them hanging down, they're easy to walk through and look nice up at the door.

On the plus side, this is a good weight. The "chains" do stop insects as far as I can see. Fitting is very simple, you just need a couple of hooks or basic brackets fixed to a batten on the underside to give an upright "lip". The screen just slots on. Similarly you could get some aluminium "U" section and drill straight through the upright parts and enlarge the hole on one side to make a mounting bracket. On the minus side, the included hooks are a ridiculously large fitting and the actual chain is quite soft and is easily deformed so may not last as long as a £250 item. Overall, it's easy to install for the average DIY'er and works. I'm considering putting a second one up about a centimeter further in to ensure no flies can get through.

This product cost a lot. And it doesn't work at all. The fly's was still, if even more after i put it up. What a desipointment. Please don't waist your money on this product.
