Very unique product and extremely effective.
As a 20 year foster of hundreds of cats, I'm a HUGE fan of vetericyn products. This particular vetricyn formula with the addition of hydrogel heals and soothes injuries and skin issues better than anything I've ever used. I first tried it on a bad open wound on a cat's back due to severe flea medicine reaction. It basically burned a hole into his back and after weeks of ineffective treatment with prescriptions from the vet, I heard about the hydrogel and gave it a try. Within 4 days, the skinless area had new skin and it was fully healed within a week although it took a bit of time for the fur to grow back. Basically it's a miracle product as far as I'm concerned and I always have some on hand. I've used it on myself and know first hand that It's not only painless but extremely soothing on an open wound. If the product is fresh, it smells lightly of bleach. (It's not bleach, so don't let the smell worry you.) In fact, when there's no longer that bleachy smell, it's time to get a new bottle because it has lost is effectiveness.

If your cat has a wound this is a great product to help treat them.
I used this after cleaning an injury my cat had. It worked well, was easy to apply and didn't cause any reaction or skin irritation when I applied it.

Good product
One of my cats is allergic to fleas and always breaks out pretty bad at the beginning of the summer and this stuff helped clear his sores up. Sometimes the spray can get clogged but we just take the top off and pore a little in our hands. It doesnt irritate him and helps with his itching.

It works
Fantastic stuff. My kitten somehow got a damaged ear and this stuff helped it heal quickly. She didnโt like me spraying it of course but it worked! It doesnโt smell bad and it cost less than the ointment the vet was going to prescribe. He looked at it and said he thought it would be just as good as the prescription stuff and it was.

No smell, no sting, quickly cured my cat's severe acne!
First pic is "before", the next two are "after". My cat had really bad acne all over her chin from tooth problems and having to eat a diet of strictly grain-free canned food due to a medical issue. It was oozing and gross no matter what I tried or how often I cleaned her chin. I even used those medicated pads from the veterinarian - she freaked out about the smell, they stung, and they didn't help one bit. I found this product by accident while searching for something else and decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. I was so impressed I told all my friends with fur babies to get some asap! Honestly, I wasn't even good about putting it on her chin every day and her acne cleared up like magic! After a few sporadic applications her hair started growing back and the oozing completely stopped. After about 2 weeks of using it whenever I thought of it (there is a lot going on so my brain is total mush lately!) her chin looks amazing! I sprayed it on a paper towel and dabbed it on because cats aren't really very fond of getting squirted in the face. ๐ It has no smell so it is easy to sneak onto her when she isn't being very nice. There is plenty left in the bottle so I will have it if she has another flair up or if one of my other fur babies has an issue. I can't recommend this enough! If you have pets - make sure you have a bottle of this on-hand. **** I did notice that the ingredients in all the different bottles (feline/canine/etc.) are exactly the same but the prices are not. This specific bottle was cheaper than the one that says it's for cats. So - go with whichever one is cheaper because they are all the same!! ****

Insanely Good!
So I have a feral cat that I have been taking care of for years now and he sleeps in a little house I brought for him on my patio. I feed him and give him water 3 times a day and he's a big healthy fella but I can't bring him inside due to my two female cats. I always gave him dry food but eventually started giving him wet food. This is what I believe caused the reaction (Google It). The sore on the back of his neck was huge (half dollar huge for us older peeps) and similar to the pictures people here posted. He would scratch it and make it worse which drove me crazy and caused a tremendous scab on the back of his neck as well as a bald spot. After research, I took him off the soft food immediately and got this product. Within 2 days he stopped scratching at it. By the third day, the wound started to heal visibly. After a week it got smaller. After two weeks, it is almost non-visible, the hair is back and he is the most thankful 23 pound (all muscle) homeless cat I have ever seen. This stuff is amazing. Wish I could get him adopted but I would miss him so much. I spray 3 squirts while petting him only to make sure he doesn't run and I actually get the spot (he also has razors for claws on those gigantic man-paws of his). But it doesn't hurt or sting so he's fine with it. I did this twice a day for two weeks. Hope this helps someone else as well as some understanding on what may have caused the sore.

Worth the price!!
This product is amazing! I have a formerly feral one year old kitten/cat who scratched a spot about the size of a pencil eraser on the back of his ear. I had a healing cream for cats, which would help it begin to heal. But then, his older big brother, who loves grooming him, would lick the scab off. Being former feral, he would have NO part of a cone, even a soft cone - he'd Houdini out of it in minutes. I ordered this spray and literally within 12 hours of applying it had healed dramatically!! We're on day two, have applied 5 times total & you almost can't even see where the wound was. Will forever keep some of this in my kitty first aid kit!!
