This grips are amazing. I have two sets installed on the front of my 850 Polaris. I flipped the Polaris upside down onto the grips, and the grips did not break or bend; the grips remained 100% intact. The Polaris weighs 750 pounds plus the force of the fall, and the grips withstood that amount of force. The base of the grips can be turned in any direction. This is well worth the price. The installation was not very difficult. We use the grips to hold multiple hand tools, cross bows, compound bows, and rifles. The grips and fit and hold items very well. The grips have a very functional design.

These work great for me. needed to secure a rifle on a side-by-side. I am pleased with this purchase.

These things are burly, big, and heavy duty. I have used them for firearms and a variety of tools ranging from shovels, to sledge hammers, to trimmers, etc. The grips hold everything firmly and away from the machine so no damage occurs. A few comments in response to the bad reviews. The base of these grips is aluminum, which when mounted on plastic will scratch the plastic. That is just common sense. A cheap, simple solution is available at any hardware store. Buy a neoprene washer and place that in between the clamp and the ATV deck. No scratches. Also, the grips ARE big. This is an advantage as it keeps the cargo away from the ATV. They also rotate on the central shaft so you can fold them horizontal to the machine when not in use. This reduces the grip height so they aren't in the way. Lastly, they attach firmly to the lock and ride. Read the instructions for the grips and your Polaris lock n ride before installation. If you mount them correctly they aren't going anywhere.

Solids gun rack! If you carry a rifle on your ATV, this is an awesome way to go! I mounted mine on the front rack and is so nice to have it front and center. We went on a deer hunt last season and my dad didn't have these on the ATV for the hunt. He had to sling his rifle on his shoulder while driving and it was always slipping off. We were so thankful to get the opportunity to borrow the ATV, we bought the owner their own set. I highly recommend these!

These are awesome but have a manufacturing defect. The cast aluminum is not machined or finished accurately and can cause these to have a wobble when tightened. Problem can be solved with sand paper or file work to get them to clamp tight. Other than this, they are fantastic and well worth a little effort and the cost. Very sturdy.

Great addition to my Ranger. Carries pole saw or line trimmer without issue and without it bouncing around beating up expensive equipment

Purchased for my Polaris 850, seems to fit well. Purchased to hold various rifles, axe, etc when out on the trails. I haven’t had a chance to test out its grip ability in off-road/bumpy environment yet

I bought these for transporting a pole saw on my side by side. They work great! They are extremely durable and they hold the saw firmly in place even over rough terrain. I was actually shocked how heavy these were when I first picked up the package. I am familiar with most of Kolpin’s other mounts like this and these are much more robust and durable If you plan to transport heavier items or you just want to make sure that whatever you put in the mounts stays put, I highly recommend these even though they cost considerably more than Kolpin’s similar products.

Heavy duty, installed quick and easy. Will be leaving for hunting in a couple days an going to put them to the test. Update: back from hunting and they performed fantastically. I took my machine all over the place and the racks held tight and even had enough grip and room I could wrap my rifle in a soft case and it would still fit in the Kolpin grips. I highly recommend them.
