These are great as pocket warmers. You should stick them inside of things that you want to warm up.If you're like me and the backs of your hands get cold and are more of a priority than the palms of your hands, this type of warmer might not be the best fit. I didn't know that about myself until I got these.They pack away very neatly into a bag and are easy to charge. If this is exactly what you're looking for, then I would wholeheartedly recommend this item! I still keep these around in case I want to warm up a pocket or shoes or anything else that these can fit inside.If you're a cold-natured person and your discomfort is mostly from the backs of your hands being frigid, this form factor is not very convenient and I would suggest heated gloves or a more malleable, flexible heat pack that can more comfortably conform to the shape of the back of your hand :)

I was super surprised at how well this product works. It does what it's supposed to and what the product detail says. You can't go wrong with this product and I would buy again

Has a long battery life thought maybe not to the exact capacity as described. Heats up quickly and keeps hands warm.

I play rec football year round, including winter, and keeping my hands warm so I can actually catch a ball is pretty key. On really cold days, vinyl gloves under the receiver gloves just isn't enough. One of my teammates got these and showed me his set - in 20 degree (F) weather with two layers of gloves on, they immediately warmed up my hands. So after the game I ordered my own set. I had a chance to use them last week and yeah, definitely keep the cold at bay while I was holding them.I didn't give all five stars for a few reasons. First thing I noticed is charging. They apparently messed something up with USB-C because power delivery adapters just don't work (C to C cables). Apparently only A to C chargers will charge these. Kinda annoying since most of my chargers are C to C now. Second thing is ergonomics - they're either too big or too small for my whole hand - if I press the curved part in my palm my fingers end up not getting warm, and if I rotate the device so my fingers are over the curved area it bites into my palm. I can deal but it's a little frustrating.However, they did their job and stayed warm in subfreezing temps for two and a half hours, and probably would have kept going - after the game I was at about 50% charge. I kept them in a hoodie pocket so they warmed up extra quick and used them on the ride home to keep my hands warm until the car heater kicked in.

Really good and easy to use. Saved me from winter

One unit quit after 30 days, the other one in 4 months. But company supported their product and replaced. I admit I was using them everyday in the winter, so could be my over use.

So nice to have in the winter time - and WOW do they heat up fast! They also cool down fast as well, so no fear of it burning a hole or something in my pocket (it doesn't get THAT hot though). It's been great to have a back up charger for my phone as well! Super nice and durable, they fit in my hands so nicely. Definitely a must have for winter!

I do like these hand warmers, even with the 3-star review. The size is perfect to keep in my coat pocket and the shape is helpful to conserve heat with my hand wrapped around it. Level 2 is enough heat to keep my hands warm on calm, ~20-degree days with no wind.So why the average rating? There is no way these things will last the full 8 hours advertised, especially on colder days. I have never gotten more than 3 hours, max, on heat level 2, and I doubt the lowest heat level would be warm enough for anything approaching a polar vortex during a Chicago winter. Also, they take FOREVER to charge, so if you forget to charge them overnight, you're out of luck in the morning. That said, they are good for a couple of hours of birdwatching, which is what I use them for, but if you're going to be out all day, you may want to consider a different product.
