Excellent and efficient heaters! Quickly got the tanks up to temp and are able to actually hold the set temp very well. I had to get bigger heaters than what they’re rated for, due to my colder house temps. I’m using the 75 watt heaters on tanks from 2.5-5 gallons for Bettas. This has been the only heater that can maintain 78-80° with no lids! Use the tank gallons to watts as a guide. You may need a bigger heater to get the desired temp, like me. Stable and warm temps for tropical fish are very important! Keep them warm 😊

Never heated as well as lower watt heaters, failed after less than 60 days active use. I had this in a 13 gallon that never would get all the way up to 80f. Switched in a 50 watt fluval heater and never had a temp problem in that tank again. I left it unplugged In that tank for a month, moved it to a 10 gallon tank. Tried turning it on a couple days later and I have a flashing H1 temp sensor failure

I had read a bunch of other reviews for aquarium heaters, and even the ones which came from companies that had a good reputation, would sometimes have issues. I bought this one, since I also bought an aquarium light from the same company, and I liked how this one looked. I bought the 75 watt version, and am using it in a 20G H tank. The 150 watt one wouldn't come for almost a month, so I figured 75 was enough, and so far I am right. It's winter here, and I keep the house in the 60s when at work and asleep, and this thing keeps the water where I want it. My only gripe, is the temperature display is off by between .5 and 1 degree, compared to my glass thermometer that is in there. Update: It crapped out for some reason in September, 10 months or so after I bought it. For some reason, the unit displayed Er where the temp should be. It is supposed to only display that when out of water. Hygger promptly answered my email, and after a picture sent, and a description of the problem, they sent me another unit.

It's looks a bit large in my 20 gallon tank, and blends in well with a black background. Really like how easy it is to see the temp setting and able to adjust it without reaching into the back of the tank to change the temp, and it's real clear what the temp is set at. Many of the long glass type heaters are hard to read the small dial, and have limited length in the electric cord to pull it up to adjust temp, especially when dealing with a 90gallon tank. Hoping there is less of a chance of breakage due to its design. Will definitely consider this brand next time I need a heater. I currently have 5 tanks set up.

I got this two weeks ago and it's already short circuited, or whatever H1 means. It's still not very clear but either way the user manual says to discard the heater already. What a waste of money. Otherwise it's a good heater, does its job. Well, for less than a month at least in my case...

My fiance and I cook in our room without a fan and a cracked window. But unfortunately we live in Colorado, so the temp in the room drops pretty significantly. No heater could keep the tank at 82 consistently aside from this one. Zero issues with it so far after 3 months. We have it plugged into a secondary temp controller so it has no chance of cooking our Betta by accident.

Llegó a tiempo y en perfectas condiciones. El empaque lo protege bastante bien. Los materiales de fabricación se ven de muy buena calidad. El cable de alimentación es grueso y con clavija con conexión a tierra. Funcionamiento silencioso. Los únicos detalles son que el instructivo no viene es español -aunque es bastante fácil de operar-, que sólo indica los grados en escala Fahrenheit y que para peceras pequeñas lucirá bastante grande. Sin embargo lo recomiendo.

So far has been working great. I am using it in a 15 gallon tank for my Betta. It has maintained a 77/78 F temp perfectly with no issues which I have checked against a digital and Mercury thermometer. Very easy to use and like that the control of temperature is outside of tank so don't have to reach in tank and disturb it. Now its just a matter of time to see how long it lasts.

I’ve gone through 2 hygger heaters in the last 3 months, both didn’t last even a year. I have another that I hope doesn’t crap out on me either. Do not recommend, despite it being the perfect size - absolutely disappointing.

I bought 15 of these for my fish room rack. Less than 3 months ago and just in the past week I've had 4 fail on me. Will not buy these again!

I’ve had issues with this heater randomly going into and out of error mode since it came out of the box. I’d never buy it again and should have returned it right away
