El acabado de color negro se "daña" muy fácil, si la intención es usarlo en un llavero, lo más probable es que en unos cuantos días el acabado negro se haya caíd. La funda de piel que incluye es un buen detalle, pero es demasiado pequeña para poder meter las pinzas con facilidad, es especial la pequeña perilla que funciona como seguro. El metal se siente de buena calidad, lo que si que la punta es tan delgada que corres el riesgo de cortar en lugar de solo sujetas en caso que quieras sujetar algo delgado y no tan duro, como una fibra, hilo, vello, etc.

Yeah they're about 50% more expensive ($10) than a comparable pair of regular tweezers but being able to retract and lock them into a protective metal built-in case means the tip doesn't get all screwed up from banging around inside my toolbags. For construction these things are a godsend, absolutely must have. Idga f how safe you are or what gloves you wear you're going to get a sliver eventually, wood or metal. These things work great on both, couple guys on my crew ended up buying their own after using them, the geometry and stiffness of the metal is just so superior to other tweezers. The needle point is VERY strong and you can dig around in flesh easily to grab even the most stubbornly buried sliver. Only downside is it's made in China, Civivi is a chinese company but the build quality is superb on these things and even with rough use I don't think you'll ever break or bend them, they're VERY robust.

Well machined and very sharp. Nice that it comes with a sleeve for it. My piece stinks though. Not sure what the process was in creation exactly but my tweezers absolutely reek. Doesn't affect the functionality at all though.

First let me say, I have become a HUGE fan of Civivi and their knives. I needed a pair of tweezers for use at work, i get a lot of metal slivers as a body tech, and i found these little guys. I wasn't sure what to expect from "precision" tweezers but it sounded like what i was looking for. After using these for a few months i can definitely confirm that they are insanely precise. the tips close together perfectly aligned and they are very sharp tipped. They are almost too precise sometimes as i feel like i need a magnifying glass to see what the tips are actually grabbing if its a really tiny sliver. the scroll lock device is a nice design, keeps the sharp tweezers from coming out and poking you on accident. they are super sturdy and feel like they're made of really high quality steel. They're easy to use and put back in their leather case, however the case doesn't really fit the tweezers all that well with the wheel lock being a bit bulky. All in all great little tweezers that feel like they will probably last a lifetime. Definitely a good buy!
