What tools do i need to install the bell on door

No tools. Adhesive is on the back of the door bell. Just be sure you set it exactly where you want it. I cleaned the metal door a few inches above the handle with rubbing alcohol first. Mine has stuck really good. The tone part just plugs into the wall socket. It isn't difficult at all.

Does it have an on/off button?

No on/off switch but you can unplug the chime from the wall socket to turn off the bell.
