Great for training. Easy to put on/take off and comfortable. Plenty of protection and support without wraps. Very good value, imo.

My 12-year-old son has been using the Meister (12 oz) Gel Armor Bag Mitts since December 2025, and they have exceeded our expectations in every way. For the cost, you simply cannot beat the quality and protection these offer. Pros: Superb Impact Protection: The Gel Armor padding is incredible. My son barely feels any impact on his fists when training, which gives me great peace of mind regarding his hand safety. Premium Materials: The fact that these are made from real full-grain cowhide leather is a massive plus. They feel premium and are holding up beautifully. Excellent Durability: After months of regular, heavy use on the bags, they are proving to be extremely durable. Comfortable Fit: They fit his hands perfectly and provide a very comfortable training experience. Important Note on Use: Bag Use Only: It is worth noting that the thumb on these mitts is not padded. Because of this, they should strictly be used as a bag glove and are not meant for sparring. Coach Approved: Even his coach tried them out and was quite impressed with the overall build and protection they offer for bag work. Final Verdict: If you are looking for a high-quality, real leather training mitt that provides top-tier fist protection for heavy bag work without breaking the bank, these are a fantastic investment.

The outer material of the gloves initially appears to be of decent quality. However, the padding and structure are not solid enough. After some use, the gloves seem to expand and become loose, which affects stability and protection. Unfortunately, during training my hand got hurt and I suspect it may even be fractured. For boxing gloves, proper hand protection is essential, and these did not provide it. Edit: I don’t recommend these. The padding flattened out, and now it hurts my hands to punch. I already had to buy a new pair.

These are awesome gloves. I had medium-small hands and they fit perfect. I got the 14oz and I was very impressed with the quality. They look and feel great. They're not overly bulky nor are they too thin. Perfect amount of padding for a good workout on the bag. The singular thumb section is also a great feature. Get them, you won't be disappointed.
