I was very impressed with these scissors. They were very sharp. They cut well. I like the color. And I liked they had a nice zippered case.

Good after few drops of oil and movement. Would have given 4 1/2 stars if could. My only con. Would be they are on the heavier side. But still are smooth Strong and great for the price of 4 total shears

(Background intro paragraph. Skip to the second one if you don't want to read as much.) This is a great set of haircutting scissors. My kids are 12 and 7 and I've always cut their hair. I also will trim my own bangs and sometimes make a few adjustments to my own hairstyle as well. I have no official training in hair but have always loved working with my own and other people's hair. I had a number of friends who had me cut their hair in college more than 20 years ago. I've even gotten compliments on my daughter's haircuts when people asked me who I took her to to get it done. During Covid I had to cut my husband's hair a few times even and that worked okay but that gave me more stress as his cut isn't quite as easy as my son's.ANYWAY, while not a professional, I can definitely tell the importance of having good/proper haircutting scissors. I've been using another set that was fine, but it's at least 10 years old now so I was happy to get this as a new replacement. This is a great set with a lot of different options for different effects as well as the basic scissors and for $50, it easily pays for itself with the first cut you do at home. (If you aren't a pro and want to learn, there are lots of good training videos online on video apps in particular, but start slow and easy, and ideally do small things that won't be noticeable if you make a mistake. You can do it!) This is a great option for anyone who enjoys (or needs to) cutting hair!

I've been cutting both my sons hairs for what seems like forever, and I was just using a cheap pair of scissors that I had to do the job. What a difference that good scissors make! The scissors have adjustable screw nuts, a universal size that fits my fingers, thinning shears, and a nice case to hold all of it. The kit also comes with a thinning knife.I feel like this whole kit has upped my game in cutting hair. These are professional, if not commercial grade scissors, and work perfectly on beards as well as hair. I'm no hairstylist but I can really tell a difference with these scissors. I highly recommend and they're better than described.

The shears already need to be sharpened after a month.The one texturizing shear completely fell apart. POORLY MADE

Love this set and the case it came in. Scissors are a good weight. They fit my fingers well and seeing as I have large fingers that is a pleasant surprise. Used to trim my husbands hair, they cut well.

I've been cutting my own hair since before covid hit and up until now have been making do with an older set of smaller scissors from an all-in-one hair cutting set that included corded clippers. These are the first set of "professional" shears I've used, and they're pretty nice. I'm obviously not qualified to compare them to more expensive salon-level tools, so if you have more demanding needs you should seek out some alternative reviews.Both of the scissors are functionally identical and have a knob you can twist to manually adjust tension. Even on the looser side, they cut better than the ones I've been working with. I'm not sure how long they'll stay this sharp, but out of the box they work as intended. Their surface is prone to fingerprints, but that's not really an issue. Both pairs squeak occasionally, especially when cutting slowly with higher tension, however this may resolve over time. I'll try to update this part of the review if that happens.The thinning shears work pretty well, too. I have another pair I bought separately that seems to take off slightly more hair in one go, but it's probably better that these don't.The texturizing razor is probably the weakest link here, though that could come down to my lack of experience. It works, but I felt like I needed to hack away a little bit at each clump of hair to create spiky layers. It certainly LOOKS sharp, so it's entirely possible I just didn't have the correct angle down for what I had in mind, but I found it way too dull for my use case.I'm docking a star for the cost. As of writing, this kit will set you back $44.99. There are similar products in the marketplace offered at a lower price, even some that come with combs and brushes which would've added additional value to this package in my opinion.
